I have an app that uses BLE to connect to access doors. Since iOS 26, when it hasn't connected to any doors for a while, it deactivates, whereas in older versions of iOS it continues to work all day without stopping. Has anyone else experienced this? I've found problems with people who have had the same issue since upgrading to the latest version of iOS 26. Is there a known issue with BLE in iOS 26? I haven't found any official information. thnks
I would suggest to try iOS 26.2 to make sure this isn't fixed by a late bug fix, and if the issue isn't resolved there, try to narrow down what the problem is.
What does "it deactivates" mean? The app? What happens to the app, does it get terminated?
If you mean that the app no longer works with the door, then you may want to look at what exactly is failing. If your app is getting terminated more often now, have you implemented Bluetooth State Restoration? If not, start here.
If the app is not terminated but you are no longer able to connect to the doors, then this is something you need to debug and find out where the failure is. Is the scan no longer discovering the doors? Is the connect command failing?
Once you have more detailed information, we can then point you to a specific place to find the problem.
