Setting Reduce Transparency programmatically

Can developers programmatically turn on Reduce (Liquid Glass) Transparency for their app? Or just for a view? Or will iOS 27 permit setting Reduce Transparency on an app-by-app basis?

Developers can’t set Reduce Transparency programmatically, but users are able to customize their Reduce Transparency setting for individual apps using Per-App Settings, which were first introduced in iOS 15.
