Apple Pay integration and Merchant IDs.
Hi, We’re a franchise business with over 100 franchisees, and each franchisee has their own unique Merchant ID. We're building a single app that allows customers to place orders, and based on the selected franchisee, the payment needs to be processed through that specific franchisee’s merchant account. However, when we integrate Apple Pay and publish the app, it asks us to provide a payment gateways' Merchant ID, but we don’t use just one – we have many. How can we handle this situation? Is there a way to dynamically use multiple Merchant IDs in one app, depending on which franchisee the customer is ordering from?

NFC Certificate Request for Apple Wallet Pass Rejected – Need Assistance for EV Charging Station Use Case.
Hello Apple Developer Team/Community, I am working on developing an Apple Wallet pass with NFC functionality for our electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The goal is to enable a "tap-to-start charging" feature, providing a seamless and efficient experience for users. However, my request for an NFC certificate to enable this functionality has been rejected. Here is a summary of my use case and actions taken so far: 1. Use Case: The Wallet pass will allow users to initiate charging sessions by tapping their iPhones or Apple Watches on the EV charger. This feature aims to simplify the process by eliminating the need for additional apps, physical cards, or manual inputs. It enhances accessibility and aligns with Apple’s goals of providing users with secure and convenient solutions. 2. Steps Taken: Submitted the NFC certificate request with a detailed explanation of the functionality. Included diagrams and supporting documents demonstrating the workflow and system readiness. Received a rejection without clear guidance on how to address the issue. 3. Technical Readiness: Our backend is fully prepared to support NFC passes, including secure processing of tap events and payload encryption. The Wallet pass has been configured to include the nfc field with the required encryptionPublicKey. Request for Assistance: Could you provide guidance on improving my application to meet Apple’s criteria for NFC certificates? Are there specific requirements or examples of successful NFC-enabled Wallet pass applications that I can use as a reference? Domain verification failed
Hi support, I'm getting the following error when I tried to re-verify my domain: Domain verification failed. Review your TLS Certificate configuration to confirm that the certificate is accessible and a supported TLS Cipher Suite is used. I have uploaded the required apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association.txt file and it is reachable from the Internet in the proper location https://www..com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association.txt. The SSL certificate has been renewed and it offers at least one of required cipher suites based on the Apple document https://developer.apple.com/documentation/applepayontheweb/setting-up-your-server. Apple Pay Domain Reverify Failed
We are attempting to integrate the Apple Pay service into our website and have successfully verified our domain with Apple manually. However, we consistently receive an 'ApplePay reverify failed' email a month before the expiration time. Upon checking, we updated the SSL certificate for the domain before receiving the email, and the link still works fine in the browser. We would greatly appreciate any feedback from someone who can help us with this issue.

Automation on apple pay certificates
Hi! I am working on automating the Apple Pay integration process in our CI/CD pipeline and would like to confirm whether a fully automated setup is currently possible for our preproduction environment. Right now, our process is as follows: A certificate is generated for the root domain and for each individual merchant subdomain. Both certificates are manually uploaded to our preproduction servers to test and verified via HTTP. We’d like to automate this flow in GitLab CI, mainly the generation of the necessary certificates programmatically or via API. However, from my research, it seems that Apple does not currently provide an API or any support to automate this task, but I’d like to confirm this directly with you. Is there any official support or workaround for this kind of automation? If not, do you have any plans to provide it in the future? Thanks in advance for your help.

I want apply offer code first time only for subscription. Below are details of what i set in appstore and what i have tested. Test Flight Test app UI Currency code error
When running the test app with test flight before actually opening the app, the execution region is Korea and the country code is Korea, but the currency code on the payment screen is displayed as dollars or euros instead of won. In the payment settings, the currency code is set to won for Korea and dollars for the United States, and the European region is not set at all, but in some phones it is displayed as euros, and in some phones it is not like this, and in some cases it is displayed as won normally.

HCE Default app for double tap of power button
I have the HCE entitlements, but it's not clear from the documentation I have, how to configure my app as the default app for the double tap of the power button. Nor can i see where this is in iOS 18.2 settings. The closest I can find is 'Settings > Default Apps > Contactless App', which still shows only Wallet after I install my app with all the new entitlements and provisioning profile. Card provisioning not working from Apple Wallet Extension
We have developed Apple Wallet Extension for our App. The in-app provisioning for the card is working. However when we try to add the card from Wallet extension it gives error saying "Your issuer does not yet offer support for this card". Need Help with Apple Push Provisioning.
Hi, Please refer the info graphic . I'm an issuer Bank App, who wants to add a card to phone's Digital Wallet. When I hit add to Apple or Google wallet, my API call goes to a Token Requester server and then to Token Service provider. In this process, I do get a JWT token back, but when I try to add token to Digital Wallet, I always get the message "The pass cannot be read because it is not valid". So few question: Is there a way to debug the token that is received by the app? Is there any kind of API console that I can look to see what is happening and why the pass is not valid? I, being the Issuer Bank App, a Token Service Requester and A Token Service Provider, who should be communicating with Apple servers? Are there any documents that explicitly shows (example) the flow of adding a credit card to Digital Wallet from iOS perspective? Any other help is appreciated. Payment not completed in Apple Pay
We have an Apple Pay account and have successfully created and verified the payment processing certificate in our Apple Developer account. When initiating an Apple Pay payment, the Apple session is created successfully with the correct data return from api , but it is not accepted with the error: “Payment not completed.” The issue occurs even though the merchant validation step works without errors. How to use and test Wallet Transaction Shortcut in iOS Simulator?
The Shortcuts app offers the possibility to trigger shortcuts/intends when a wallet credit card is used and a new transaction is created. I would like to add transaction details to one of my apps and use such a shortcut for it. Other apps do the exact same thing, so this should not be a problem. Adding a shortcut to my app was not a big deal. However, how can this be tested on simulator? When trying to add a new automatization in the Shortcuts app using a wallet transaction as trigger I cannot finish the setup dialog since the Next button is disabled. I assume this is because no card is configured. When trying to add a card in Wallet I just receive that this was not successful. I have connected the simulator to a Sandbox Apple ID account using a region which supports Apple Pay (US). Using a real account does not solve the problem. Any idea how to get this working? Using real transaction within a store could obviously not be the solution for debugging.

Replacement For Expiring Merchant Identity Certificate Validation Issue
We are on a .NET ecommerce site hosted on AWS on a windows 2012R2 server. We have apple pay for the web integrated on the site and the certificates (merchant id and apple pay) were set to expire shortly. We created a new merchant id and apple pay cert, however we are now stuck as the new merchant ID certificate doesn't appear to be working although the old one did. Note there have been no code changes. Basically the apple pay process is failing on the merchant validation. Here are the steps we took: Created a CSR in Keychain Access Generated a Merchant ID cert in the Apple Developer account with that CSR. Imported the Merchant ID cert back into Keychain Access and exported as a p12 file the cert and the private key used to generate the CSR. Imported the p12 file into Windows 2012 R2. I can see in our debugging that the new certificate is being loaded but a SSL/TSL connection couldn't be made. So it seems there is an issue with the cert. Has anyone encountered this? I'm out of ideas at this point and under a lot of pressure from management to fix what was supposed to be a routine maintenance issue. If anyone has any ideas, that would be greatly appreciated.

I am attempting to verify my domain https://technoq.genesistechnologies.tech for use with Apple Pay Merchant ID. However, when I attempt verification, the process fails with the message: “Domain verification failed.” Unfortunately, no additional details are provided. I have already completed the following steps: Downloaded the verification file apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association.txt. Placed it in the .well-known directory as instructed. Confirmed that it is publicly accessible at: https://technoq.genesistechnologies.tech/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association.txt Verified that a valid SSL certificate is configured for the domain. Could you please advise on why the verification might be failing and what additional steps I should take to resolve this issue?

iPhone iWatch sending ATQB response during ECP polling causing detection of collision
Hi Support, When the applepay express transit option is used on emv payment cards, like this iPhone - Open “Settings” → “Wallet & Apple Pay” → “Express Transit Card”. And a emv single card has been enabled under Express Transit And on transit reader Apple Enhanced contactless Polling support is provided, ( with VAS not supported, user authentciation not supported) Sometimes ATQB response also comes from the iPhone or iWatch instead of the ATQA response, and then it causes the transit reader to report as collision error in the polling. Apple support rejected my refund with ridiculous reason
First double charge in a same item, i ask the game developer they accept my refund request, but i don’t know why apple rejected my request, they said i haven’t strongly support? how can i send him the support? there are no attach button allow me the send him the conversatio via email. Then suddenly charge me 2 times i haven’t buy item. i request refund they also rejected…why? i didn’t get anything from the game but i had pay already. who can help me to get back my money. totalHK188 miss charged. this is not fair they stole my money. i don’t know why the game developers accept my refund request, who gave apple the right to reject

Issue with the ApplePay SSL server certificate
Hi support, Since June 26th 2025 we are experiencing an issue with the ApplePay SSL server certificate installed on our servers in Production environment. Unable to re-verify Merchant Domain
Hi, we are trying to verify our domain and we uploaded the file to our domain {DOMAIN}/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association.txt and we can access it. But when we want verify the domain in your platform we can't do it and you see the message "Domain verification failed". How can we verified or if we need change something in our side to verify it? thanks!
