We’re testing SKAN postbacks via AdAttributionKit but aren’t receiving any requests on our server even after generating development impressions and triggering a postback.

Issue:
No POST requests are being received from Apple to either .well-known endpoint, even though the setup appears correct and ATS tests pass.

I'm working on a watchOS app that has an iOS counterpart. There will be a subscription required to unlock functionality and I would like the user to be able to make the purchase on either the iPhone or the watch and have both apps unlock.
The first link below says that StoreKit 2's Transaction.currentEntitlements will not work in this case like it does with extensions. The second link says it might work but doesn't in the sandbox.
What is the best way to make this work? Will it just work in the App Store? Should I use WCSession to send the purchase information from one platform to the other and store it in the keychain? Something else?

Transactions monitoring. If I only have subscriptions, do I really need to "bother" with any sort of monitorTransactions() or just rely on subscription status (subscribed, revoked, cancelled ...) ?

The "Only handle consumables and non consumables here" recommendation by Apple in ref to the process transaction code above is nuanced and confusing if we know what was with other external experts recommendation saying when using only SK2 Views :
"This is where most developers trip up in trying to get an experience that App Review is happy" ...

Does this holds true for the new SubscriptionStoreView ?
We are not sure with quite obscure Apple documentation what SubscriptionStoreView handles, other than purchase (and now subscribe) function, and we do not know what diverse type of error handling messages it can return. Moreover, Apple documents: "Only handle consumables and non consumables here" ?

I have a question regarding the App Store Server API's getTransactionInfo endpoint.
Previously, the official documentation for getTransactionInfo mentioned that:
“This endpoint doesn’t support an app transaction. To get information about an app transaction, decode the signed app transaction received from the device.”
However, as of June 2025, I can no longer find this sentence in the current documentation (link). Now, the docs state that all in-app purchase transaction IDs are supported (consumable, non-consumable, auto-renewable subscriptions, etc.).
But in practice, when I call getTransactionInfo with an AppTransactionId (extracted from a signed App Transaction JWS), I receive this error: apiErrorCode: 4000048
“Invalid request. App transactions aren’t supported by this endpoint.”
Is this endpoint supposed to support AppTransactionId now, or is the restriction still in place (but not mentioned in the docs)?
Is there any official statement about when this restriction was added/removed?
Can you clarify if only in-app purchase transaction IDs (and not AppTransactionIds) are supported for this endpoint, or has the policy changed recently?
Any clarification or historical context would be greatly appreciated.
Additionally, I would like to know about the behavior of an App Transaction in the event of a refund.
If a user receives a refund for the app itself (not an in-app purchase), how can changes to the AppTransaction be detected?
Does the App Store Server Notification v2 provide notifications for app-level refunds, or are such events only visible by decoding the latest App Transaction JWS on the device?
Is there any way to receive app-level refund information server-side, or must we always rely on the device to provide the updated signed app transaction?
Any clarification on this refund flow and notification coverage would also be appreciated.

Inquire the types of notifications that can occur in a SANDBOX environment
Hello, WWDC 2024 is trying to conduct a test to receive notifications related to ONE_TIME_CHARGE, CONNSUMPTION_REQUEST, CONMSUMPTION_INFO, REFUND, and REFUND_DECLINED as described in the example of purchasing consumables, but as a result of the continuous search, I found that it is difficult to occur except for
ONE_TIME_CHARGE.
So, in order to verify only the business logic as shown below, we are testing only the business logic without actually calling the API after purchasing the test and saving the signaled Payload that we received in response to ONE_TIME_CHARGE. Can we actually request a refund for the test purchase and receive the corresponding notification and actually send the response?

Regarding the call of 'CONSUMPTION_INFO', which is the response of 'CONSUMPTION_REQUEST'
Is there a value that WWDC 2024 must include when sending CONMSUMPTION_INFO, which is the response to CONNSUMPTION_REQUEST described in the refund example? I'm going to call the API with only sample provision and consumption like the sample code you introduced in the video.
I was told to submit my refund preference within 12 hours, but can I submit it as UNDECLARED at first and use the method to express my intention? When I receive the notification, I will save it in the DB and save it in the administrator page of the service so that the administrator can choose.
2-1. Some of the materials I looked for are told that Apple can proceed with the refund even 12 hours ago, and to express your opinion as soon as I receive the notification, but I wonder if this is correct.
If you get a notification as below, you should write whether you used it or not by referring to the consumption information. I think the customer said to check whether the data was provided when applying for a refund. Should I take it out of decodedTransaction, check the value, and just call it NO_PREFERENCE? I'd appreciate it if you could give me some advice.

We use the (now deprecated) server-side receipt verification API (*1) with the app we are maintaining and there are some points I would like confirm on how its response changes based on whether the purchase being processed was a subscription that used an offer code or not.
I am particularly concerned about the following:
Are there any properties of the response that are added or missing?
Is there any property indicating that an offer code was used?
If there is, which field is that and what values does it take?
Are there any special steps or options required when processing the receipt which used an offer code on the server side?

I am consistently receiving the error message "In-app purchases are not allowed on this device" whenever I try to make an in-app purchase on my iOS device. Despite following all the recommended solutions I could find online, the issue remains unresolved.
Here is a list of the steps I have already taken:
Checked Screen Time Settings:
I navigated to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases.
I have confirmed that "In-App Purchases" is set to "Allow." I have also tried toggling this setting off and on again.
Signed Out & In of Apple ID:
I signed out of my Apple ID via Settings > [Your Name] > Media & Purchases, restarted the device, and then signed back in.
Restarted the Device:
I have force-restarted my device multiple times.
Updated iOS:
I have ensured my device is running the latest version of iOS (checked via Settings > General > Software Update).
Verified Payment Method:
I have confirmed that my payment method on file is valid and up-to-date.
Created a New Sandbox Account:
I also created a new Sandbox Tester account in App Store Connect and tested with it, but the result was the same.
Device Information:
Device Model: iPhone 15, iPhone 13
iOS Version: iOS 17.5, iOS 18
Even after performing all of these steps, the problem persists. Has anyone else encountered such a stubborn issue, or does anyone have a different solution I could try?

I have created a Python app and built it with pyinstaller and codesigned everything. Now I want to Sandbox test it. In my appstore connect account i have created a subscriptions id. I read that if I am logged out from the AppStore and have codesigned my .app file with a Developer Certificate i should be able to run the app on my local mac and when i click on the "Buy" button it should connect to my app store connect setup. I have implemented StoreKit in my app and use a storekit_bridge to combine the .swift code with my python app.

We have a user that has an active subscription according to the appstore in our product but it is registering as expired. Hitting the subscribe button in the SwiftUI SK2 dialog does nothing, meaning, nothing happens.

Hello,
I recently saw this error from StoreKit in the Console - 'Invalid value for purchase intake' - while debugging a SKPayment subscription issue (where a valid receipt should be verified and restored, but isn't for one user).
I haven't been able to find any documentation about this message and wondered if it was related at all.
There were two other logs from StoreKit right before saying:
'Found 3 products in receipt with ID'
'Processing ad attribution purchase intake'
Does anyone know what 'invalid value for purchase intake' is referencing?
We don't have the AdAttributionKit implemented. It sounds like it might be related to that instead?

when I have not verified payment method and we choose UPI then pop up shows Purchase In Progress and it shows notification for UPI app payment for apps like Gpay, Paytm. But when we approve or decline this payment StoreKit methods not called for success or failure and we have to kill app to refetch the status and stop the loader.

Right now when a subscription expires the user needs to manually do some action that triggers updateStoreKitSubscriptionStatus() as it appears that expirations do not come through in Transaction.updates.
I am surprised there does not seem to be a better way. Does StoreKit not notify you somewhere that an auto-renewable subscription has expired? Can you observe it in an ObservableObject? Or do I need to just frequently poll Transaction.currentEntitlements even if I dont expect frequent updates?

I'm encountering an issue with the App Store Server API where the appAccountToken is not preserved when users migrate their Apple ID email addresses. I've submitted
Feedback Assistant ticket FB18709241 but wanted to check if anyone else has experienced this and get community input on best practices.
The Issue
When a user migrates their Apple ID from one email to another (e.g., from olduser@example.com to newuser@icloud.com), the App Store creates a new subscription
transaction with a different originalTransactionId, but the appAccountToken is not carried forward from the original transaction.
What I'm Seeing
note: these values are fake
When querying /inApps/v1/subscriptions/{originalTransactionId} with the either post-migration transaction ID or the pre-migration transaction ID, the API returns both transactions:
Pre-migration transaction (status: 2 - inactive):
originalTransactionId: "12345678910111"
Contains: "appAccountToken": "abc123-def456-ghi789"
Post-migration transaction (status: 1 - active):
originalTransactionId: "67891011121314"
Missing: appAccountToken entirely
The Problem
The appAccountToken is our only way to link App Store subscriptions to user accounts. Without it on the new transaction:
Users lose access to premium features despite having valid subscriptions
Server-side renewal notifications can't be matched to user accounts
Manual support intervention is required for each affected user

What's the recommended approach for handling this scenario?

I have an AppStore Server-side question. User sends up an AppReceipt that I am validating. What's the best way to tell the receipt belongs to said user? I want to make sure that the source of the AppReceipt was actually the original purchaser of the item. Is fetching Transaction + AppAccountToken the only way? AppAccountToken can only be utilized if the original purchase used it, and it is associated with the user's data. Is there another way?
Is there an API Endpoint that I can call to check if user still have valid subscription?
I want to be sure that his subscription renewal was succesful (ie: I dont want to give him another month/year/.. if his latest renewal wasnt successful)
Would GET https://api.storekit.itunes.apple.com/inApps/v1/transactions/{transactionId} be the correct API endpoint to call?
But I wonder, after subscription auto-renews, do we still use the same transactionId to check whether his subs is still valid?

I have consumable IAPs in my app. Currently there is no way for me to test refunds for them as Xcode testing doesn't allow refunds option for my Purchases. According to this official documentation on Transaction.all , i should be getting my refunded consumables in Transaction's all property.
But there is no way for me to know what kind of data is in the refunded transaction object. Will there be a 'revocation date' like in the case of non-consumables?
I'm using the SwiftUI view SubscriptionStoreView (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/subscriptionstoreview/) with a subscription group that has 2 subscriptions. I set up a free trial offer in App Store Connect (https://developer.apple.com/help/app-store-connect/manage-subscriptions/set-up-introductory-offers-for-auto-renewable-subscriptions/). The storekit file in Xcode is synced with the App Store.
In debug build, this works and appears correctly, showing the free trial offer:
