I'm working on the companion iOS app for my purpose-built MDM system. when I use the following in a .swift file: import DeviceManagement I get the build issue: No such module 'DeviceManagement' When I attempt to add the framework in the Frameworks, Libraries, and Embedded Content settings, DeviceManagement doesn't even show up in the available frameworks. Alll the documentation I can find suggests that is the correct framework to import, but I'm new to this and not sure if I'm just missing something. Some AI help is suggesting that the culprit might be v16.x of Xcode, but I don't know enough to prove that correct or not. Any ideas on why Xcode believes there is no such module? Is there documentation that might help me learn how to make that framework available for my project?

We have an office application used internally within our enterprise. The Provisioning Profiles (PP) for the app were about to expire, so we updated the PP and released a new version. However, we've encountered an issue where some users did not update their phones in time. After the app expired, they found it unusable and downloaded the new version, but the newly downloaded app also crashes on launch. Restarting the phone does not resolve the issue, and this primarily occurs on iOS 18.3.2. What could be the cause of this problem, and how should we address it?

Three months ago I molded a mold program. I believe could be tweaked and tried unlined zero code. swear. anyway I would like to scale with some people if I can go to commercial area code phoned series and calls.and if I have rights. but my next moves for them. on iOS I think they should have a seri settings. where they can call seri.on settings, and it jump many codes-and navigation is hard. plus I think seri can help in settings expecially since seri settings is verbal drop. if the words fit or are similar it cues goes to but you have to hard call the switch.so there’s no hey no Sami where you setting no Sammy right I think it could skip cauldron and everything verbally either. I'm currently implementing a managed app using the new AppConfig specification. I referred to Apple's official documentation: Specifying and decoding a configuration. The MDM was installed correctly and other commands are working fine. I have tried to send the InstallProfile with custom configuration to the device, but it was displayed as not signed. How to sign the payload for InstallProfile command and where it should be included in the payload / command? My company signed the application with enterprise certificate, the Provisioning Profile expired on March 20, 2025. Some iPhones didn't update the application before the expiration. We have update the Provisioning Profile and repackaged application. However, these iPhones still can't use the application after reinstalling the new ipa. After opening the application, the screen is blank and then flashes back without any error prompt. Restarting iPhone didn't help.

Hello, I am running into a bit of an issue with the Screen Timeout/Screen Lock setting and would like some clarification on. First for a bit of context, I am enrolling personal iOS devices 18.0+ into the company MDM (Intune) with Account Driven User Enrollment. We are trying to set a screen timeout of 5 minutes and immediately after it asks for the passcode on the device, though this setting is not being applied and the device timeout setting can be set as "Never" on the user's end. This is a big security risk for the company I work for and and the issue with being HIPAA compliant. According to the Microsoft Intune Support, "In iOS 18, when using Account-Driven User Enrollment for BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) scenarios, the screen lock timeout setting is indeed marked as “Not Applicable”. This is because Apple’s privacy-preserving model for personal devices restricts administrative control over system-level settings like screen lock or idle timeout." I am needing clarification on the item mentioned from Microsoft Intune Support and if this setting is no longer able to be applied from the MDM with devices enrolled with Account Driven User Enrollment?

I've tried everything I can think of, forums, reddit, Microsoft documentation.... just can't find any clear cut method of doing this. I'm working on an InTune Mobile App Protection Policy. I know there are going to be some VPs out there asking why they can't use native iOS Apps, especially Apple Calendar, Contacts & Mail. I have not been able to get anywhere, I always end up with this error. Things I've tried: Allow sync of native apps with work account Putting in app exemptions (But I don't truly know if I know if I have the right values for this and there's no simple way of getting it from what I've seen. Having to download app to PC, finding config files, finding specific values.... that people say are hit or miss). Allow data transfer of ALL Apps What am I missing here? I'm pretty much giving up and just going to say sorry, you can't use Native apps.. Period! Anyone have any experience with this, especially for Mail, Calendar & Contacts? Thank you for anyone that can offer advice on this.

We’re using the Apple Developer Enterprise Program for internal app distribution. The Apple ID is a generic one using our domain email, but the Account Holder is a real person with authority in the organization. For the payment method, we plan to use a corporate credit card — but it is issued under a different staff name (e.g. card under Chief, but Account Holder is IT Head). Just want to check: • Is this setup acceptable? • Will Apple reject the enrollment/renewal if the card name doesn’t match the Account Holder? • What’s the best practice in this case to avoid delays or verification issues? Hello, We are currently deploying Apple devices in our organization using Apple Business Manager (ABM) and are looking for a long-term self-hosted MDM solution. We initially considered MicroMDM, but since official support will end in December 2025, we are evaluating NanoMDM. I would like to confirm: Is NanoMDM a stable and production-ready option for long-term use with Apple Business Manager and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE)? Does NanoMDM support all essential features like: Supervision Remote wipe App deployment Configuration profiles Are there any limitations or known issues with using NanoMDM? Are there any other open-source or lightweight MDM solutions Apple developers recommend that are actively maintained? We are aiming for a reliable, secure, and future-proof self-hosted MDM setup. I have an issue with my MDM setup. The Push notification that installs and updates configuration profile in the device is no longer working. It was working before Apple developer account got expired we renewed our apple developer account and then retried and we got the device enrollment working just fine. Now when we are updating configuration profile and MDM server is supposed to notify the device using push notification, this is the part where its not working. Are the certs faulty now since the account was expired? Would just renewal of the Push cert work? Will I have to setup the certs all over again? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

We are trying to develop an app that will be responsible for managing 5000+ managed iPads through Intune MDM. The user flow is to have a device locked to a single app when a user is not logged in, but to make the device available to other apps once a user is authenticated. We already tried UIAccessibility GuidedAccess Mode and autonomous single app mode but those were not sufficient due to our need to be able to toggle this from the background. When the device may be asleep. So another way we could achieve this functionality would be to control all app access under a launching mechanism. That way we could allow one app to be visible in our MDM configuration and try to access our business app through that using deep links. If this were to work, we would have to be able to hide an app and still make it launchable from the manager. Any ideas? Thanks

I'm hoping to make certain in-house apps fail to launch by revoking the in-house certificate that they were built on. This is by way of encouraging users of these apps to download updates built on a new certificate. How long will it take app built on a now-revoked certificate to no longer launch? Also, what is Apple's process for checking the validity of an in-house certificate in an app built on that certificate, running on iOS devices? I understand that provisioning profiles have built-in expiration dates, but will an in-house app that's built on a valid provisioning profile keep running even on a revoked certificate if the revocation happened before the certificate's own expiration date?
