I used spotlight search for almost everything I do through cmd+space. However ever since i updated my laptop to MacOS Sequoia 15.3.1, the spotlight search won't give me app results: for example i type "flux" and will get just web-based results, not the app. I tried going into the spotlight settings and only enabling applications to be searched for results and got nothing. I tried the same with the Notes app, i get the same result, i get some notes i wrote as result but not the actual app. It doesn't happen on all apps for example Brave or Spotify work.

Our code is using .lowQualityThumbnail to generate a thumbnail, it stops working when users update to 15.2 . Test it with a regular jpg file for fileURL. The only way to make it work is to change it to .thumnail or remove it. It's not deprecated, is it a MacOS bug? customers don't want to keep updating the software. I have received my web order details and also the invoice few days ago but when I try to go to App Store Connect it won't let me in. I have contacted the apple developer support 3 days ago but I did not received any response yet. It's frustrating. I'm pretty desperate today and unfortunately it's making me sick, really sick. Yesterday I edited a note on a MacBook Pro, M2 processor, MacOS Sequoia 15.8.1 (-1) and today the text work I invested several days in is lost. My only option is to delete the note! So far I've had very, very good experiences with the Notes.app, robust, reliable, manageable range of functions. When integrating the math functions I became really suspicious for the first time. I had calculated series and sequences and suddenly the Note.app froze for a worryingly long time, in fact the entire operating system was blocked. Then today I got a huge shock, the note can no longer be opened, neither on the iPhone nor on the MacBook Pro. The note contained my business concept for a business partner. I had already been writing the concept for several days! I estimated the value at several thousand euros. This has torn me apart, I can feel myself getting sick. I use the scan feature notes frequently. Steps were: open app click paperclick click scan documents scan save then I share to my email. click mail icon on then I would normally be given a size to choose from small, medium or large it would ask about the subject which I always let blank. With my new phone/updated ios I am given an option to to mail drop or attach document. I have done both and my document size is large. I need to minimize to 25% to fit on computer screen. I spoke to apple support. How do I fix this?
