Paid on May 11, Account Not Activated, No Refund, and Support is Unresponsive
Hey everyone, I’m posting here out of pure frustration because there is literally no way left to contact Apple Developer Support. I am completely stuck. I paid the $99 fee via in-app purchase back on May 11th. Right after, I was prompted to verify my identity, and I immediately uploaded the requested documents. Since then, it has been a complete nightmare. If I check my Apple ID "Subscriptions" on my iPhone, the developer subscription actually shows up as ACTIVE and states it will renew next May. This means that 4 whole months have already passed and are actively being counted against my 1-year membership time. But when I log into developer.apple.com, the dashboard still asks me to "Complete your purchase" and pay again. I am not clicking that button because I refuse to be double-charged for the same thing. No refund was ever issued to me, and I haven't been able to use the account for a single day despite a third of my subscription year burning away. Here is what I have tried with zero success: Sent emails with my official Apple receipt showing the deduction. No reply. Received automated "Complete your payment" emails. I replied directly to them with my proof of payment. Ignored. Tried calling the official support phone number during my local business hours. The number is completely unreachable. I have no active account, no refund, and no way to talk to a human. Has anyone found a way to escalate this kind of issue? Any help from an Apple representative here would be highly appreciated. Universal Clipboard iPhone to Mac stops working until iPhone restart (FB24740548)
Universal Clipboard from iPhone to Mac works after an iPhone restart, then silently stops after a while. Mac to iPhone and Mac to Mac keep working. Only restarting the iPhone fixes it; toggling Bluetooth or Handoff does not. What the Mac's unified log shows while broken (useractivityd + sharingd): Mac to Mac (working): Received Ad ... CopyPasteKey = 1, then [PBOARD] Received pboard available advertisement, then Requesting complete: 1713 bytes, error: (null). iPhone to Mac (broken): zero Received Ad and zero pboard advertisements from the iPhone, even while copying every few seconds with the phone next to the Mac. No errors. The Mac still recognises the iPhone as a paired own-account device (Paired yes, identity resolved, distance Immediate), so pairing and receiving are fine. So the iPhone appears to stop broadcasting Handoff advertisements entirely, and the stuck state survives Bluetooth and Handoff toggles.

Chat with Open Knowledge Format Memories: ChatOKF
Early Access via TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/Qsvxk5Mh What is it: https://leok7v.github.io/ChatOKF/ Open Source: https://github.com/leok7v/ChatOKF A capable AI assistant that lives on your iPhone and iPad. The model runs on your device's own chip, so nothing you type is uploaded and nothing is logged. Once a model is downloaded, ChatOKF works in airplane mode. No account. No sign-in. No subscription. No ads, no analytics, no telemetry. WHAT YOU CAN DO Ask anything: check the math on a loan, plan a week of dinners, untangle a confusing letter. Show it a picture: a photo of a menu, a street sign or a whiteboard, straight from your library. Some models also listen to audio and watch video, frame by frame. Hand it a document: a PDF, a Word file or a spreadsheet. It reads the tables inside and answers from the file, and one tap opens the page to check it. Watch it think: the stronger models reason before they answer. Read the reasoning, tap Quick Answer to cut it short, or switch thinking off for speed. Let it look things up: Wikipedia, today's headlines, the weather and web search are tools it can use, each behind its own switch. Keep going: it suggests a sensible next question; swipe right to ask it. Keep what it gives you: answers are typeset, tables and mathematics included. Search and rename your chats, share one as a PDF, and bring a deleted chat back within thirty days. Talk instead of typing: tap the microphone and speak, and have replies read aloud in one of eight voices made on your device. MEMORY YOU CAN READ Tell it to remember something and it writes a short note, and the chat says what it wrote. Later questions are checked against your notes first, whichever model is answering. Every note is listed under Memories, to read or to delete. One switch, Total Recall, turns it all off. WHERE YOUR WORDS GO Nowhere, unless it looks something up. With Wikipedia on, your question is matched to an article on your device and only that article is downloaded. With web access on, the model's search terms go to a search engine and the pages it chooses are fetched. Settings, Privacy says exactly what leaves your device for each one. PICK YOUR MODEL Several open models are offered, and the list shows only what your device can hold, so every one you see will run. Gemma 4 E2B and E4B: they see pictures, hear sound and watch video. Qwen3.5 2B and 4B: good with tools and longer answers. Ternary Bonsai 1.7B: small and fast, for devices with less memory. GOOD TO KNOW The first launch downloads a model, from about half a gigabyte to a few gigabytes. Use Wi-Fi; after that, no network is needed. Devices with more memory are offered stronger models, and newer chips answer faster. Answers are generated and can be wrong. Check anything that matters. ChatOKF is written in Swift on Metal, and its source is on GitHub. Models are provided by their authors under their own licenses, including the Gemma Terms of Use.

macOS 27.2 b2: Contacts app freezes for several seconds on every contact card
What happens Since installing macOS 27.2 b2 (didn't go through b1, might have been there already), the Contacts app has become almost unusable on my two Macs. Opening a contact or moving to the next one often freezes the app for 8 to 10 seconds, with the spinning wheel. It happens many times in a row while browsing the address book. It comes back no matter what I try: restarting, letting iCloud resync the contacts, deleting and recreating cards. Once, it seemed to go away for a couple of minutes upon restarting, but it returned. Both Macs share the same iCloud account (~690 contacts): a MacBook Pro M4 Pro and a Mac mini M4, both on 27.2 b2 (26B5091g). Reported as FB24928119. Technical details All 18 Contacts_*.spin reports show the main thread blocked in CNCDContactFetcher withLockedContext_fetchPosterData, waiting on a synchronous XPC call to com.apple.contacts.poster.api. That service is postersyncd, which syncs Contact Posters. The kernel kills postersyncd with exceeded mem limit: InactiveHard 20 MB (fatal) at 30–35 MB. launchd relaunches it every ~10 s: 74 kills in 26 h on one Mac, 54 in 24 h on the other. log stream --level debug shows the same sequence on every relaunch: START: Background cleanup → Potential cleanup for missingLocalContactIdentifiers → FetchingContacts → killed within the same second. The cleanup never finishes, so it restarts forever. The poster store (group.com.apple.contacts/ContactsMetadata) is ~85 MB, with blobs of up to 9 MB each. The memory limit stays InactiveHard even while Contacts is frontmost. Moving the poster store aside doesn't help: iCloud rebuilds it in ~25 s. Posters deleted from iOS or iCloud.com get a deletion date but are never purged. Question: has anyone else seen this on 27.2 b2? Is there a way to reset the Contact Posters data stored in iCloud?

Apple Developer enrollment paid, but account now shows “Not Eligible”
Title: Apple Developer enrollment paid, but account now shows “Not Eligible” Hello, I recently enrolled in the Apple Developer Program using my Apple Account. I completed the enrollment process and paid the membership fee using Apple Pay. The payment was successfully charged, and during the enrollment process I was told that I would receive an email shortly regarding the enrollment. However, I never received that email. When I now log in to my Apple Developer account, it says that my account is not eligible for the Apple Developer Program. The membership fee has already been charged, so I would like to understand what happened to my enrollment and whether the payment can be associated with my application. Could someone please advise me on what I should do next or how I can have the enrollment and payment reviewed? Thank you.

My wired earphone stopped working when I updated to IOS 27.
Since updating my iPhone to iOS 27, my wired earphones are no longer detected. Audio continues to play through the internal speakers, and the accessory is not recognized. To isolate the issue, I tested the exact same earphones and adapter on a friend’s iPad running iOS 26, and they worked without any problems. This confirms the physical hardware and adapter are functional, indicating a software bug or accessory driver issue in iOS 27. Steps Taken: Restarted the iPhone. Cleaned the charging port. Verified full hardware functionality on an iOS 26 device. Please advise on a fix or include a patch for audio accessory detection in the next iOS 27 update.

Window dragging (via Title Bar) fails over Chrome Remote Desktop after updating to macOS 27 Golden Gate Beta
Hi everyone, I recently updated my Mac to macOS 27 Golden Gate Beta and have encountered a strange issue with window management over a remote connection. Issue: When connected to my Mac via Chrome Remote Desktop (CRD), I can no longer move application windows by dragging their title bars (outer frames). Details: Curiously, I can still drag and move individual tabs within apps (like Chrome or Terminal), which means mouse drag input itself is being transmitted correctly to the OS. This issue only happens when attempting to drag the window title bar/frame over a remote session. Local mouse/trackpad control works perfectly. Everything was working completely fine before the update to macOS 27 Golden Gate Beta. What I've tried so far (with no success): Toggled Accessibility permissions off and on for ChromeRemoteDesktopHost and restarted the Mac. Disallowed and re-allowed Screen Recording permissions. Completely re-installed the Chrome Remote Desktop host application. Disabled "Tile windows by dragging to screen edges" in System Settings to avoid snapping conflicts. It seems like WindowServer or the system-level window management is blocking or ignoring virtual mouse drag inputs specifically on title bars since this beta update. Has anyone else experienced this on macOS 27 Golden Gate Beta, or is there a known API change / security restriction in this version that affects remote input handling for WindowServer? Any insights or workarounds would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

CTCellularPlanStatus.getTokenWithCompletion Returns Nil Token and Nil Error When Multiple SIM Profiles Are Configured but Only One Subscription Is Active
Problem: CTCellularPlanStatus.getTokenWithCompletion Returns Nil Token and Nil Error When Multiple SIM Profiles Are Configured but Only One Subscription Is Active Environment: Device: iPhone 15 Pro iOS: 27.0 Capability: com.apple.developer.upi-device-validation Frameworks: CoreTelephony, MessageUI Reproduced in both production app and standalone Objective-C sample app Issue: After successful UPI verification SMS submission, setUPIVerificationCodeSendCompletion returns YES, but CTCellularPlanStatus.getTokenWithCompletion returns: Token = nil Error = nil Code: [messageController setUPIVerificationCodeSendCompletion:^(BOOL result) { if (result) { [CTCellularPlanStatus getTokenWithCompletion:^(NSString *token, NSError *error) { NSLog(@"Token = %@", token); NSLog(@"Error = %@", error); }]; } }]; Observed Behavior: The behavior appears to depend on the SIM profile configuration: Scenario 1 Device has only a single SIM profile configured: Physical SIM only, or eSIM only Result: Token is returned successfully. Scenario 2 Device has both Physical SIM and eSIM profiles configured and both are active. Result: Token is returned successfully. Scenario 3 The device is configured with both a Physical SIM profile and an eSIM profile; however, only one subscription is active: Physical SIM active, eSIM disabled, or eSIM active while the Physical SIM is removed or unavailable (displayed as "No SIM" in Settings) Observed Result: Token = nil Error = nil Summary of Observed Behavior Token retrieval succeeds in the following configurations: Device provisioned with a single SIM profile (Physical SIM only or eSIM only). Device provisioned with both Physical SIM and eSIM profiles, with both subscriptions active. Token retrieval consistently fails in the following configuration: Device provisioned with both Physical SIM and eSIM profiles, but only one subscription is active. This behavior appears reproducible and suggests a potential issue related to subscriber resolution when a dual-SIM device contains multiple SIM profiles but only a single active subscription. The API does not provide an error indicating why token generation or retrieval failed.

Search Field in Preview app iOS 27
I’m using the new Preview app on an iPhone running iOS 27 with a multi-page PDF that contains selectable text. Apple’s Preview guide says PDF text search is supported: open the PDF, tap Search, type a word/phrase, and use previous/next match arrows. But I cannot find a Search/Find control anywhere. I checked: • The visible top toolbar • The filename dropdown (it only shows Duplicate, Move, Rename, Export, and Print) • The **- - - ** menu • The bottom toolbar Has anyone found the actual Find in PDF control in the current iPhone Preview interface? If it is missing for you too, please include your iPhone model and exact iOS 27 version/build.

Speak Selection feature
I'm running the latest beta 27.2 (26B5086k) on a 2022 Mac Studio M1 Max, and I'm experiencing a new issue. I do a lot of writing, dictating, and reading, so I frequently use the text-to-speech feature. After the recent update, my shortcut for "Speak Selection" stopped working. I tried restarting the machine, but it still won't read the selected text. I also attempted to adjust the settings, but the system settings froze. Also its not even loading the controller. Any help getting this feature working again would be greatly appreciated!
