We're sending the spcData payload to our fairplay key server (version 5.1) with the base64 encoded string of our fairPlay.cer that was downloaded from our developer portal and we're getting a spcVersionErr (-42580) for the spc version. The value that is being received by the key server seems to be 813827283 when it should be either 1 (base_constants.SPCVersion.v1.rawValue) or 2 (base_constant.SPCVersion.v2.rawValue). We're assuming we're encoding the fairplay.cer incorrectly. Any insight from anybody would be appreciated.

Excited to be here programming with Swift Programming Language skills. I have already learned as part of my skillset: commands, functions and for loops. I will contribute as much as time allows on this forum as well as ask questions if I get stuck with programming concepts.

Hello,
I'm having a serious problem registering for the Apple Developer Program, and I can't resolve it.
I applied over two weeks ago, but I still haven't received an activation email. I've also tried using different credit cards, suspecting there might be a problem with my payment method.
The main issues are as follows:
My order/registration remains in the "processing" status,
I haven't received an activation email,
Apple Developer Program support isn't responding.
I've already sent over seven emails to support, but haven't received any response or updates.
Has anyone else encountered a similar situation?

On iOS 26.01 & 26.2, the system keyboard shows uneven horizontal padding:
Leftmost key column touches the screen edge
Right side has visible padding
This behavior is reproducible:
In existing apps In a brand-new demo app In both UIKit and SwiftUI
Xcode: 26.0.1 & 26.2
iOS: 26.0.1 & 26.2 Simulator
Devices tested: iPhone 15 / iPhone 15 Pro
Keyboard types: .numberPad, .decimalPad
Frameworks: UIKit, SwiftUI
When I try to create a post in Apple Support Community, it forces me to create a new account (for some supersmart reason because my apple account is apparently not enough). In this process, I am required to pick a new username and choose my communications preferences. The next screen? 403 Forbidden Error page.

Hi,
I was looking at the SSC website and registered for the "Get ready for the Swift Student Challenge" online session taking place on the 15th of January.
I am unsure what this session entails and is wondering if anybody could clarify what it is about?
Thanks

What OS will a Swift Student Challenge submission run on? I want to use iOS 26 features but the version history for Swift Playground doesn’t show it being updated past the iOS 17.5 SDK. So, can I still use features from the iOS 26 SDK?
👋Hi
This problem is related to SSC.
I remember that the form submitted last year needed to be filled in with Xcode or Playground test, and it seems that it was also mentioned:
• If you use Xcode, the judges may use Simulator to run.
• If you use Playground, it's a real machine.
But my work this time will encounter two limitations:
It will use the framework/API only available in iPadOS 26 (so if it is a Playground environment, it may not run, playground can't use iPadOS 26 SDK)
It will also use some content that must be real to run (such as ARKit), which means that Xcode Simulator is not good.
So I would like to ask: Does this year's review allow you to compile and connect the iPad to the real machine? Or did I misremember last year's regulations? If the judge's environment is fixed (for example, only Playground or only Simulator), how should I adjust the submission method or implement the scheme?
Looking forward to your reply, thank you.

Hi,
I’m working on my Swift Student Challenge submission using iOS 26 APIs (FoundationModels) along with AVFoundation + Vision to capture user input and generate feedback.
Since Swift Playgrounds doesn’t support FoundationModels framework, I’m using an Xcode App Playground, but I heared that submissions are reviewed in the Simulator, which doesn’t support live camera feed.
I’m unsure how to handle this.
Looking for guidance on the recommended approach.
Thanks!

After updating the Xcode 26, defined universal links are not working in the iOS simulator. In the configuration, we have verified all the things including AASA file hosting and domain configuration. It is working properly in the real devices. Issue occurring only for Simulators.
How can I debug it in the simulators to validate this ?
Xcode Version: 26.1
Simulator iOS: 26.1

I just looked at the "release notes" for macOS 26.3 beta, and it said there were no notes.
Imagine if you were getting your car checked, and the bill had an extra $1000 tacked on, with a line item that said "---".
As a developer, this is bizarre. As a shareholder, this is dismaying.
Hey everyone, I took over a mac os app project file and the Assets folder is looking strange. It doesn't have the regular interface where you see the list of assets and the section of adding the app icon size variants and so on. It's just a document of raw data referencing the assets. It's not recognizing the folder as a normal assets folder. Any idea how I can fix it?

Hello everyone,
I am looking for advice or help from anyone who has experienced a similar situation.
I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program as an organization under the name Mindzone Technologies on Monday, December 15, 2025. Since then, the enrollment status has remained in “processing” with no updates.
After waiting several weeks, I contacted Apple Developer Support twice but have not received any response.
First email was sent on Monday, January 19, 2026 (GMT+4)
Second email was sent on Friday, January 23, 2026 (GMT+4)
Category: Membership and Account, Program Enrollment
At this point, it has been over 40 days since enrollment and more than 3 business days since the last support contact, despite Apple stating typical response times are much shorter.
There has been no request for additional documents, no phone call for identity verification, and no explanation provided. This delay is blocking our ability to publish apps and proceed with business commitments.
Has anyone else faced an enrollment delay of this length recently
Is there a specific escalation path or action that actually helped resolve this
Should I expect a phone verification call or is there something I should proactively request
Any guidance from Apple staff or developers who managed to resolve a similar case would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Problem Description
DP extended display: When hot-plugging the downstream DP port, there is no audio output. (Occurs randomly)
2. Setup Condition
The product is connected to the following platform:
Platform: Apple MacBook Pro (16-inch, M4 Max, 2024)
The DP port is connected to the following monitor:
3. Reproduction Procedure
Step 1:
Connect the DP port to the extended display ASUS VP28U (4K 60Hz)
Step 2:
Connect the platform Apple MacBook Pro (16-inch, M4 Max, 2024)
Step 3:
Hot-plug the downstream DP port → no audio output (random occurrence)
Bug Description
DP extended display: When hot-plugging the downstream DP port, there is no audio output. (Random)
Affected Platform & Monitor Combination
Apple MacBook Pro (16-inch, M4 Max, 2024) & Samsung S32BG850NC (4K 240Hz)
Vendor Anaysis:
After analysis, we found that the issue also fails when the host is directly connected to the monitor (tested with two different USB-C to DP cables, both showing the same failure).
The RTS5490 only bypasses the audio and video signals, and no abnormal behavior was observed in the logs.
In addition, we found that different behaviors occur when switching the monitor OSD between DP 1.1 and DP 1.2:
OSD set to DP 1.1:
Direct connection: Pass
Connected through RTS5490: Pass
OSD set to DP 1.2:
Direct connection: Fail
Connected through RTS5490: Fail (same issue reported by Tongxing)
Testing with other monitors does no

Problem description:
Connected to a Sharp 8TC60DWTX (8K) display, but unable to select 4K resolution
Setup Condition
Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch M4 Max
Sharp 8TC60DWTX (8K)
3.Duplicate Procedure
After connecting to 8K MNT and select 4K solution, it still display as 8K.
Vendor analysis:
8K60 shows no image; switching to 30 Hz works normally
→ After analysis, we found that the 8K60 timing output from the MacBook is incorrect.
The horizontal blanking (H-CBlanking) is too small to accommodate the audio data, so the RTD2191E does not output video to the monitor.
→ This issue does not occur on Windows platforms, confirming that this is a host-side issue.

Dear Apple Developer team,
dear Apple Developer community,
I’m posting this publicly because I honestly don’t know how else to get a response.
Timeline:
December 3rd: I applied for the Apple Developer Program and received the confirmation email:
“Your program enrollment has been received.”
After that: complete silence for weeks – no status updates, no emails, nothing.
End of December: Only after I opened a support ticket myself did I receive a response asking me to upload additional documents.
January 12th: I uploaded all requested documents in full.
Since then: silence again.
Last Monday, I sent a follow-up email → no reply.
Today (January 26th), I opened a new ticket, referencing the existing case number.
Honestly, I have to ask:
Where is the professionalism in this process?
For comparison:
The Google Play Developer account verification (including identity and company checks) took around 24 hours.
Apple is one of the most valuable technology companies in the world.
Why does a basic developer enrollment take over two months, without transparent communication or even a simple status update?
At this point, I would really appreciate:
a clear status update, or
at least a realistic timeline for when this process will be completed
Right now, this experience feels neither professional nor developer-friendly.
Thank you for reading, and I sincerely hope for a timely response.

Enrolled via website for the apple developer account last Jan. 17 and got the e-invoice last Jan. 19. However, until now I still have not received any confirmation from Apple. I thought it was supposed to be 48hrs max only? Worth noting that I started the process in the developer app but had to withdraw it due to incorrect details but when I tried to enroll again, the button was disabled already so I had to do it via website. I also submitted 2 support tickets, one on Jan. 18 and one today, Jan. 20. Both no reply.
Anyone else here had the same problem or knows the solution?
Hi everyone,
I am writing this out of extreme frustration as I have been unable to complete my Apple Developer enrollment for nearly four weeks. My Enrollment ID is LT5A4XR4UF.
I started this process on January 1st. On January 18th, I received an email from Apple stating that the developer team "must speak with me" to move forward. However, I am facing two major blockers that have brought the process to a complete standstill:
No Phone Option: When I go to the "Contact Us" page as instructed, there is no option for a phone call—only an email form. I cannot fulfill the request to "speak" with the team if no live channel is provided.
No Email Response: I have sent numerous emails over the last several days explaining this situation and providing my contact details, but Apple has not responded to any of them. It has been many days of total radio silence despite this being a time-sensitive enrollment.
Details:
Enrollment ID: LT5A4XR4UF
Region: New Zealand
Account Type: Orgnisation
Total Delay: 25 days and counting
Is there an Apple representative here who can look into why my case has been ghosted? Alternatively, if anyone knows a direct line or a specific time of day when the "Phone" button actually appears for New Zealand developers, please let me know.
I am eager to begin developing, but the lack of support is making it impossible to even get through the front door.
Thanks,
Anthony
