My framework has private Objective-C API that is only used within the framework. It should not be exposed in the public interface (so it shouldn't be imported in the umbrella header).
To expose this API to Swift that's within the framework only the documentation seems to indicate that this needs to be imported in the umbrella header?
Import Code Within a Framework Target
To use the Objective-C declarations in files in the same framework target as your Swift code, configure an umbrella header as follows:
1.Under Build Settings, in Packaging, make sure the Defines Module setting for the framework target is set to Yes.
2.In the umbrella header, import every Objective-C header you want to expose to Swift.
Swift sees every header you expose publicly in your umbrella header. The contents of the Objective-C files in that framework are automatically available from any Swift file within that framework target, with no import statements. Use classes and other declarations from your Objective-C code with the same Swift syntax you use for system classes.

This code works in a playground. However, when I try to use it in Xcode for my app it fails with the following error:
Thread 1: Fatal error: Double value cannot be converted to Int because it is either infinite or NaN
I printed the value being converted to Int and it was not NAN or infinite.
These helper methods allow to use modifier methods in standard for SwiftUI short way.

System provides AnyShape type erasure that animates correctly. But system doesn't provide AnyInsettableShape. Here is my implementation of AnyInsettableShape (and AnyAnimatableData that is needed to support animation).

Hello,
I have a problem with Xcode, in C++ language. When I create a new project, I put my program in a file and click Build. It works correctly and without any problems, but when I enter a second file in the same project and click build, it says build failed. In the log it says, duplicate symbols appear.
We want to do below addition to iOS Mobile App.

I am using CHCSVParser in objective-c to use the CSVString extension of the Array instance method.
When I installed a new app on iOS18.1.1, the correct value (@"Application,"abc,def"") was returned for both the first and second turns, but
when I installed a new app on iOS18.2, the correct value was returned for the first turn, but @"" was returned for the second turn.
Even when I debug with step into, I can enter the CSVString for the first turn, but I cannot enter it for the second turn and after. It's as if the instance method is not being generated.
There are in-app purchases between the first and second turns, but the view controllers that are called are also the same.
Is there any change between iOS18.1.1 and iOS18.2?

I am an SDK provider working with Swift Package Manager (SPM) to deliver libraries for iOS developers. My SDK currently uses SPM targets to modularize functionality. However, SPM enforces strict resource bundling, which prevents me from efficiently offering multiple targets—each with a different set of localization files—in a single package.
Current Limitation:
When multiple SPM targets share the same source and resource directory but require distinct sets of .lproj localization folders (for app size or client requirements), SPM raises “overlapping sources” errors. The only workaround is to manually split resource directories or have clients prune localizations post-build, which is inefficient and error-prone.
Feature Request:
Please consider adding native support in Swift Package Manager for:
Defining multiple targets within a single package that can process overlapping source/resource directories,
Each target specifying a distinct subset of localization resource files via the exclude or a new designated parameter,
Enabling efficient modular delivery of SDKs to clients needing different localization payloads, without redundant resource duplication or error-prone manual pruning.
Support for this feature would greatly ease SDK distribution, lower app sizes, and improve package maintainability for iOS and all Swift platforms.

Comment out the Swift-6 flag.

I had similar issue in other class where it crashes with message "method not found", but actually the method is there. When moving the method into an extension of same class resolve this issue.

Hi guys,
I've been struggling for a few days with this really weird behaviour.
We made an app for our e-commerce website and found out that a part of the product page is missing.
For any reason, the header and first blocks of the page and footer are displayed, but then a massive part of the content is missing. This content is not loaded through ajax; that's why I don't understand why it's not displayed.
You can see here 2 screenshots of what the page should look like and what the page looks like with WKWebView.
I've been inspecting this with Safari; there isn't any blocking error in the console, and html elements are just empty. There is the div with class row and nothing in it.
The same website is working perfectly with native Android Webview.
If anyone has any clue to find out what's going wrong

I can't find a viable path to call StoreKit from C++ right now and would love some ideas.
I'm implementing the code exactly as shown at 4:09 in
https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2023/10172/
However when I add any StoreKit functionality in I immediately get
"Actor isolated structure cannot be exposed in C++"
This makes me think I can't create a StoreKit view and call it from C++? Am I missing a better way? I don't think I can have another structure that holds the storeChooser in it because it will have the same problem (I assume, although I will check). Part of the issue seems to be that my app is C++ so there is no main function called in the swift for me to open this view with either, I was going to use the present function Zoe described (as below).
I've tried a lot of alternative approaches but it seems to be blocking async functions from showing in C++ as well. So I'm not sure how to access the basic product(for:) and purchase(product) functions.

I ran into a problem, I have a recursive function in which Data type objects are temporarily created, because of this, the memory expands until the entire recursion ends. It would just be fixed using autoreleasepool, but it can't be used with async await, and I really don't want to rewrite the code for callbacks. Is there any option to use autoreleasepool with async await functions? (I Googled one option, that the Task already contains its own autoreleasepool, and if you do something like that, it should work, but it doesn't, the memory is still growing)

Hi There,
I have been using my Mac Studio to complete some work in Python (which I normally do in Linux) and recently I got this error which has completely stopped all development as venvs will no longer work correctly:

This occurs for me on every install of any version of Python installed using any of the standard methods (installer). I've tried all the main points of advice on knowledgeable forums, but the difference between Python on Sequoia and Python on Linux is enough such that I am at an end of my debugging knowledge. I've even attempted to blast away any System Python changes with a recovery reinstall, but the problem persists. I've done almost exactly the same setup on my MacBook Air and it is fine ... but the Studio is now unavailable for Python development.
I know I have probably dropped the ball somewhere but can't see the error myself so, I'm wondering if I should just blast away everything on the machine and go through the process of doing a clean install. Asking the experts in MacOS here so I can avoid the pain of doing that!

This function has been deprecated since ios17.
However, in ios18, when I changed the app to the background state or changed it to the foreground state again, it was confirmed that the function worked.
It hasn't been confirmed in ios17, but why is it only confirmed in ios18?
I have implemented the Game Center for authentication and saving player's game data. Both authentication and saving player's data works correctly all the time, but there is a problem with fetching and loading the data.
The game works like this:
At the startup, I start the authentication
After the player successfully logs in, I start loading the player's data by calling fetchSavedGames method
If a game data exists for the player, I receive a list of SavedGame object containing the player's data
The problem is that after I uninstall the game and install it again, sometimes the SavedGame list is empty(step 3). But if I don't uninstall the game and reopen the game, this process works fine.

I have also added Game Center and iCloud capabilities in xcode. Also in the iCloud section, I selected the iCloud Documents and added a container.
I found a simillar question here but it doesn't make things clearer.

I am creating a macOs SwiftUI document based app, and I am struggling with the Window sizes and placements. Right now by default, a normal window has the minimize and full screen options which makes the whole window into full screen mode.
However, I don't want to do this for my app. I want to only allow to fill the available width and height, i.e. exclude the status bar and doc when the user press the fill window mode, and also restrict to resize the window beyond a certain point ( which ideally to me is 1200 x 700 because I am developing on macbook air 13.3-inch in which it looks ideal, but resizing it below that makes the entire content inside messed up ).
I want something like this below instead of the default full screen green
When the user presses the button, it should position centered with perfect aspect ratio from my content ( or the one I want like 1200 x 700 ) and can be able to click again to fill the available width and height excluding the status bar and docs.

This is a basic setup I did for now, this automatically fills the available width and height on launch, but user can resize and can go beyond my desired min width and height which makes the entire content inside messy.
As I said, I want a native way of doing this, respect the content aspect ratio, don't allow to enter full screen mode, only be able to fill the available width and height excluding the status bar and doc, also don't allow to resize below my desired width and height.
