sandbox account isn't logging in on purchase window
I don't know if I am posting this in the right place. I am using xcode's phone simulator and I have setup my sandbox account on appstoreconnect under users and access/sandbox/test accounts then in my app on the simulator when I tap the subscribe button to purchase my product the a window pops up for in app purchases and I get a login prompt for my sandbox credentials, but no matter how many times I enter them after tapping ok all I get is a blank login prompt. also not this a brand new sandbox account and I've only changed the password 3 times, that seems to be important because its inconsistent with some of the errors I am getting on the error log here is error log. Purchase did not return a transaction: Error Domain=ASDErrorDomain Code=530 "(null)" UserInfo={NSUnderlyingError=0x600000d09080 {Error Domain=AMSErrorDomain Code=100 "Authentication Failed The authentication failed." Strange Pattern of Subscriptions + Refunds — Possible Abuse?
Hi everyone, I'm an indie developer and recently noticed some odd behavior in my app's subscription metrics. There’s been a sudden spike in annual subscriptions, which is very unusual for my app — historically, users rarely choose that option. What’s more concerning is that these subscriptions are almost immediately canceled and refunded. Upon checking analytics (RevenueCat + App Store Connect), I also noticed inconsistencies in user location data: users appear to be from one region (like Singapore), but deeper tracking shows actual usage from Vietnam, a market I’ve never targeted and where I do no advertising. This behavior seems coordinated and is affecting my app’s refund rate, which I worry could raise red flags on the App Store side. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Is there a recommended way to report suspicious subscription/refund activity to Apple or prevent potential abuse like this? Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Auto renewable subsction, auto renews to different product id
I need help understanding how the In-App purchase subscription works within the same subscription group and how the Order plays a role at the time of auto-renewal. In my case, I have 5 in-app products in the same group as given below with their Order, Order Product ---------------------- 1 Gold Annual 2 Gold Monthly 3 Silver Annual Old, 3 Silver Annual New 4 Silver Monthly One user purchased Silver annual New, at the time of expiry, after a year, it auto-renewed to Silver annual Old. My understanding is that if a user has purchased Silver annual New, at the time of renewal, it should renew with the same product, not with different product id. Is this behaviour expected? Is there any official document which can explain this behaviour? Note: There was no Order given before, recently we have changed the Order to manage Upgrade and Downgrade for In-App subscriptions.

Request Guidance on IAP Requirements for Dynamically Priced Digital Video Content
Dear Apple Developer Support Team, I hope you are doing well. We are reaching out to request clarification and guidance regarding the In-App Purchase (IAP) requirements for our upcoming iOS application. Our app offers paid access to digital video content. Each video has a dynamic price determined by our backend based on multiple factors (such as duration, category, and promotions). Additionally, users are allowed to select and purchase multiple videos at the same time, which results in a combined total price that varies per transaction. Challenges we face with IAP on iOS Dynamic pricing: Apple requires IAP products to have static pricing defined in App Store Connect. Our video prices change frequently and cannot be represented by fixed IAP product SKUs. Multiple-item purchases: iOS does not support a single purchase that includes multiple different IAP products. Processing many separate IAP transactions in sequence results in a poor user experience and is likely to cause failures. Product creation limitations: Since our catalog contains many videos with frequently changing prices, it is not feasible to create individual IAP products per video. Given these restrictions, we are unclear how to remain compliant while still providing a functional purchase flow for our users. Question In this scenario, where: video prices are dynamic, users may purchase multiple videos together, and IAP does not support multi-item purchases or dynamic pricing, are we allowed to use Stripe or another external payment provider to handle these purchases? If not, we would appreciate Apple’s guidance on what the recommended and compliant approach would be for apps that must price digital content dynamically and allow bulk purchasing. We want to ensure full compliance with App Store Review Guidelines and would like confirmation on the correct implementation strategy before proceeding. Thank you for your time, and we look forward to your clarification. Kind regards, Muhammad Adnan Koderlabs

Cannot see support instruction pages or entitlement request page for external purchase links.
Hello! I am trying to get my app set up to support external payments. The snag I am hitting at the moment is it seems that relevant pages are not accessible? There is this old EU doc https://developer.apple.com/support/apps-using-alternative-payment-providers-in-the-eu/ But the more updated US doc titled "Distributing apps in the U.S. that provide an external purchase link - Support" is not available where it should be https://developer.apple.com/support/storekit-external-entitlement-us/ In addition the link for requesting the entitlement seems to be broken https://developer.apple.com/contact/request/storekit-external-entitlement-us/ Any idea how one can access these? Perhaps this is just a temporary error?

SubscriptionStoreView - Restoring Subscriptions
I'm using code similar to the following to conditionally show the SubscriptionStoreView and the .storeButton(.visible, for: .restorePurchases) modifier is used to allow the user to restore an existing subscription. How can I listen for events that would allow me to close this view once the subscription is restored? The .onInAppPurchaseCompletion closure does not handle this and it also appears that listening for results in Transaction.currentEntitlements also doesn't handle the fact that a subscription is restored. Any guidance on how to determine if the subscription has been restored would be greatly appreciated. Finally, how can this be tested effectively in both TestFlight and in Xcode with the simulator. if subscriptionManager.subscription == .none { SubscriptionStoreView(groupID: "1234567") { SubscriptionMarketingView(transparency: false) .containerBackground(for: .subscriptionStoreFullHeight) { GradientBackground() } } .backgroundStyle(.clear) .storeButton(.visible, for: .restorePurchases) .storeButton(.visible, for: .redeemCode) .onInAppPurchaseCompletion { product, result in Task { await subscriptionManager.entitlements() } } }

Unknown Error Occurring During Sandbox Purchase Testing
We are experiencing an Unknown Error (error code 0) when testing purchases in the Apple Sandbox environment. The error does not occur every time, but it fails with an Unknown Error in approximately 8 out of 20 attempts. Due to this issue, our app is failing to pass Apple’s review. Issue Details This issue only occurs in the Apple Sandbox environment. After attempting a purchase, the Apple payment API returns SKPaymentTransaction Unknown Error. Returned error code: SKErrorUnknown (error.code 0). This problem is preventing us from conducting proper payment tests and getting approval from Apple. Would it be possible to receive support or any solutions for this issue?

integrating In-App Purchases on PWA.
I am trying to launch a PWA as an application on App Store, and got rejected cause of In-App Purchases. Application is about content generation and selling subscriptions for premium content. So thats why needed to implement In-App Purchases. I have created wrapper via PWABuilder. And it is looking great so far, now my question is about How can I implement In-App Purchases in the bundle which is already created. Any suggestions will be appreciated. More clarification:- I have that product running on Web right now, we have integrated Stripe for payment handling for subscriptions. If there is nothing we can do for In-App Purchases then we have to make purchases on website and then user will be able to experience the changes. We tried that, but then we got rejected for showing locked premium content on user's feed. Also can't show any CTA or Subscribe text or button.

Subscription Cancellation
Hi Team, I’ve successfully implemented the subscription flow for my app. However, I’m currently facing challenges related to testing the cancellation behavior for auto-renewable subscriptions. Specifically: I’m unable to locate the correct payload structure for the following test endpoint: https://api.storekit-sandbox.itunes.apple.com/inApps/v1/notifications/test I’m also unclear on how to simulate or complete the full lifecycle of a subscription (including cancellation) using Apple’s sandbox environment or APIs. Could you please guide me on how to: Retrieve or construct the proper payload for the test notification API? Simulate a cancellation flow end-to-end in the sandbox for auto-renewable subscriptions?

Python App. Sandbox testing IAP Auto Renewal Subscription
I have created a Python app and built it with pyinstaller and codesigned everything. Now I want to Sandbox test it. In my appstore connect account i have created a subscriptions id. I read that if I am logged out from the AppStore and have codesigned my .app file with a Developer Certificate i should be able to run the app on my local mac and when i click on the "Buy" button it should connect to my app store connect setup. I have implemented StoreKit in my app and use a storekit_bridge to combine the .swift code with my python app. However when i run the app. I get this: "25-07-24 21:01:12,557 - FEC - WARNING - StoreKit: fetchProducts returned empty result 2025-07-24 21:01:12,557 - FEC - INFO - StoreKit fetch_products returned: {"products": []} 2025-07-24 21:01:12,557 - FEC - ERROR - StoreKit: Failed to parse product info: No products returned from JSON" And no login screen appears where I should be able to enter my Sandbox email adress and password. Anyone here who has experience with a Python app combined with In App Purchases? Hope someone can help me out with this.

Is the following subscription cancellation flow possible for an iOS in-app subscription?
Is the following subscription cancellation flow possible for an iOS in-app subscription? (Note: This is during the feature planning stage, not actual app deployment.) Planned user flow: User taps the “Cancel Subscription” button Display a “Wait a moment!” screen showing how much the user has enjoyed BFLIX content (to encourage retention) User taps “Proceed to Cancel” Collect cancellation reason from the user Redirect the user to the Apple subscription management page to complete cancellation Can this flow be implemented under Apple’s current in-app purchase and App Store Review guidelines?

Delete TestFlight in-app purchase record by using a real ID.
Hey guys, somehow I used my real ID(not sandbox test ID) to purchase a non-consumable item in the TestFlight package, no actual payment was made, but this payment record cannot be erased. Even though I know the transaction ID, I cannot initiate a refund like using refundRequestSheet(). Does anyone know how to deal with this, or there is no way to solve it?

in-app purchases
I implemented consumable in-app purchases in an iPhone app using ProductView(). When I tap the payment button in ProductView(), I am taken to the payment screen and once the payment is completed the next code seems to be executed, so there doesn't seem to be a problem, but if I tap the payment button in ProductView() again, the next code is executed without taking me to the payment screen. This means that a single payment can be made multiple times. Can someone help? ProductView(id: "geminiOneMatch") .productViewStyle(.compact) .padding() .onInAppPurchaseCompletion { product, result in if case .success(.success(_)) = result { // 課金が成功した場合の処理 gemini.addOneMatch(amount: 20) popUpVM.geminiOneMatchPopUp = false dataManageVM.generateRespons(locale: locale) } }

Subscribe button does nothing in App Review, but In
Hello, My app "MyCourses" (bundle id: com.ahmedbaqer.mycourses) was rejected under Guideline 2.1 because "No action followed when we tapped the button to subscribe to a course" on iPadOS 26.1. When I run the same code (version 1.0.0 (11)) from Xcode on a real device using a StoreKit configuration file (In App Purchase.storekit), the purchase flow works correctly: When I tap the "Subscribe via Apple" button, the App Store purchase sheet appears. The purchase completes successfully and unlocks the course. I use the in_app_purchase Flutter plugin and queryProductDetails to load products. However, when I install the build via TestFlight (and in App Review), tapping the same "Subscribe via Apple" button does nothing – which matches the behavior described by App Review. From my logs it looks like queryProductDetails is returning an empty productDetails list in that environment. For In‑App Purchases: I created 7 non‑consumable products in App Store Connect. Their Product IDs exactly match the IDs in my In App Purchase.storekit file (used only for local Xcode testing). All IAPs are now in "Waiting for Review" status and are linked to the iOS app version 1.0.0 (11) in the “In‑App Purchases and Subscriptions” section. At the time of the original review, some IAPs were in "Developer Action Needed / Rejected" state, so I suspect queryProductDetails may have returned no products and the reviewer saw no action after tapping the button. My questions: When IAP products are in "Waiting for Review" and linked to the app version, should queryProductDetails return them during App Review / TestFlight, or do they need to be fully approved first? Is there any additional configuration required so that the subscribe button reliably shows the App Store purchase sheet for reviewers (for example, any specific StoreKit / sandbox settings)? Are there recommended best practices to show a clearer error state when queryProductDetails returns no products, so that App Review understands this is a configuration / IAP-status issue rather than a UI bug? Any guidance from Apple engineers or other developers who faced a similar situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Unexpected Change in Apple Refund Handling CONSUMPTION_REQUEST - Impact on Subscription App with AI Backend
We offer a 3-day free trial, and our paywall clearly states that users will be charged after the trial ends. However, some users request refunds after the charge - even after fully using our app for days or even weeks. In some cases, refunds are approved despite the users having consumed our AI processing services for up to a month. Since our app relies on backend AI processing, each user session incurs a real cost. To prevent losses, we utilize RevenueCat’s CONSUMPTION_REQUEST system and have set our refundPreference to: "2. You prefer that Apple declines the refund". Until recently, Apple typically respected this preference, and 90% of refund requests were declined as intended. However, starting about a week ago, we observed a sudden reversal: Apple is now approving around 90% of refund requests, despite our refund preference. As a result, we are operating at a loss and have had to halt both our marketing campaigns and our 3-day free trial. We’re trying to understand whether this shift is due to a change in Apple’s refund policy, or if we need to handle CONSUMPTION_REQUEST differently on our end. Has anyone else experienced similar changes? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

StoreKit sandbox purchase and product fetch not working (IAPError: storekit_no_response)
💬 Post Content Hello everyone, I’m currently testing In-App Purchases (auto-renewable subscriptions) for my iOS app, and I’m experiencing an issue where the product information cannot be fetched from StoreKit. ❓ Questions For sandbox testing, is it absolutely necessary to submit a new app version for review (with the in-app purchase included)? Or can I test subscriptions without submitting a new build to App Review? Under what conditions does the error IAPError(code: storekit_no_response, source: app_store, message: StoreKit: Failed to get response from platform.) 🧪 What I’ve Tried • Confirmed that the bundle identifier matches the App Store Connect record • Verified that In-App Purchase capability is enabled in Xcode • Ensured the sandbox tester account is logged in (Settings → App Store) • Removed the StoreKit configuration file to use the sandbox environment • Tried both real device and simulator (same error) • Accepted the Paid Apps Agreement in App Store Connect • Products are created but currently not yet submitted for review 🔍 Environment • App type: iOS app built with Flutter (using in_app_purchase plugin) • Build type: Archive build installed via Xcode (Run on device) and testFlight • StoreKit Configuration File: Currently removed (for sandbox test); • Status: Ready to submit in App Store Connect

"appAccountToken" mismatched in sandbox environment
We're seeing some strange behavior of the appAccountToken when passing it to a purchase in the sandbox environment. Normally we'd expect the same account token to be set on the resulting verfication, but that's not the case. Instead the token seems to be persisted on the API side and reused for some amount of time, meaning there's a mismatch and the connection between account and purchase is lost. This happens consistently even if we send new tokens on each purchase. Has there been any updates to purchase flow in the sandbox environment on Apple's side? .purchase( options: [.appAccountToken(token)] )

I implemented consumable in-app purchases in an iPhone app using ProductView(). When I tap the payment button in ProductView(), I am taken to the payment screen and once the payment is completed the next code seems to be executed, so there doesn't seem to be a problem, but if I tap the payment button in ProductView() again, the next code is executed without taking me to the payment screen. This means that a single payment can be made multiple times. Can someone help? ProductView(id: "geminiOneMatch") .productViewStyle(.compact) .padding() .onInAppPurchaseCompletion { product, result in if case .success(.success(_)) = result { // 課金が成功した場合の処理 gemini.addOneMatch(amount: 20) popUpVM.geminiOneMatchPopUp = false dataManageVM.generateRespons(locale: locale) } }
