Team-scoped keys introduce the ability to restrict your token authentication keys to either development or production environments. Topic-specific keys in addition to environment isolation allow you to associate each key with a specific Bundle ID streamlining key management.
For detailed instructions on accessing these features, read our updated documentation on establishing a token-based connection to APNs.

hi!
recently, I reinstalled my computer to get gptk2. I found such an error when loading rosetta. when I typed "softwareupdate --install-rosetta" on the terminal, the terminal feedback was "Installing Rosetta 2 on this system is not support Ed."
besides, when I use homebrew install gptk, it will return "Error: openssl @1.1 has been disabled because it is not supported upstream! It was disabled on 2024-10-24."
Is there any way to solve these problems?
Is anyone having any luck getting there phone fixed?
I have recently done the iOS 18.1 update and then my phone camera has stopped working.
i don’t appear to be on my own either but burnt seeing any positive posts about apple cooperating?
not sure how it can be my fault if their software has caused it? I am out of warranty too

I am trying to build a chat app. I am using FCM to deliver messages to my app accompanied by some custom data like the new message_data, deleted message_id and so on; each message will need to run the app in the background to do some background processing and local database syncing.
This continuous background processing is clearly not acceptable as APNs imposes a per-device limit on background push notifications . I am asking how can I push messages and actions payload without being throttled ?
I have a flutter app which receives bot alert and silent notifications.
The alert notifications are received properly whilst the silent ones do not trigger any function.
My app is based on OneSignal but for the testing i am also trying to directly send the notifications using the APN console. Using either alert or background type notification
I am using real device (iPhone XR)
The background modes are set to "Background fetch" and "Remote notifications"
The token is valid as i am getting alert notifications.
The app has notification permissions.
The didReceiveRemoteNotification never gets triggered (for alert or silent types)
When sending alert notification i do see the printout of "willPresent notification"
Here is my AppDelegate.swift code.
@objc class AppDelegate: FlutterAppDelegate {
override func application(
_ application: UIApplication,
didRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithDeviceToken deviceToken: Data
) {
// Log device token to ensure correct registration
let tokenParts = deviceToken.map { data in String(format: "%02.2hhx", data) }
let token = tokenParts.joined()
print("Device Token: \(token)")
}
override func application(
_ application: UIApplication,
didFinishLaunchingWithOptions launchOptions: [UIApplication.LaunchOptionsKey: Any]?
) -> Bool {
// Request full notification permissions
UNUserNotificationCenter.current().requestAuthorization(
options: [.alert, .badge, .sound, .provisional, .criticalAlert]
) { (granted, error) in
print("Notification Authorization Granted: \(granted)")
if let error = error {
print("Notification Authorization Error: \(error.localizedDescription)")
}
// Always attempt to register for remote notifications
DispatchQueue.main.async {
UIApplication.shared.registerForRemoteNotifications()
}
}
// Set notification center delegate
UNUserNotificationCenter.current().delegate = self
GeneratedPluginRegistrant.register(with: self)
return super.application(application, didFinishLaunchingWithOptions: launchOptions)
}
// Add this method to handle foreground notifications
override func application(
_ application: UIApplication,
didReceiveRemoteNotification userInfo: [AnyHashable: Any],

let contentAvailable = aps["content-available"] as? Int,
contentAvailable == 1 {
print("✅ CONFIRMED SILENT NOTIFICATION")
// Perform any background task here

return
}
print("❌ Not a silent notification")
completionHandler(.noData)
}
override func application(
_ application: UIApplication,
performFetchWithCompletionHandler completionHandler: @escaping (UIBackgroundFetchResult) -> Void
) {
print("🔄 Background Fetch Initiated")
// Perform any background fetch tasks

}
override func userNotificationCenter(

}

if let aps = userInfo["aps"] as? [String: Any],

return
}
// For non-silent notifications

We are preparing to address the upcoming change to the Certification Authority (CA) for the Apple Push Notification service (APNs). We have a few questions regarding the necessary measures.
Is the change of the Certificate Authority (CA) related to APNs something that needs to be handled on the server that sends push messages?
In relation to the CA change, do we need to reissue the APNs certificate?
If we handle the CA change on the server side and the new CA certificate already exists there, is there no need to make any further changes?
If the server’s trust store already includes the new CA certificate, it seems that no additional changes are needed. Is it possible to verify right now that everything will function correctly?

I'm trying to upload my app with Tap to Pay on iPhone functionality. However, I'm getting error message "Profile doesn't include com.apple.developer.proximity-reader.payment.acceptance entitlement." I've confirmed many times that I have the distribution profile with this capability. Any idea what might be the issue? The development environment works perfectly.
Hi all.
Since upgrading to a new iPhone 16 pro, running 18.2 public beta, I'm having issue with my wallpaper/Lock Screen.
If AOD is turned OFF, my lock screen is almost too dim to read, and the chosen Lock Screen wallpaper has a blurred effect on it.
if AOD is ON, the screen is still too dim to read, and the wallpaper is just a faint shade of the colour of the image chosen.

Hi. I’m not sure where to post it, but after 1.5 years with the AWU2 the main Watch face is still bugged, missing seconds (two digit) in format. In the attached example it shows “06:30:5” for 10 seconds until it hits ”06:31:00”. I’m not sure if it’s only related to Danish AWU’s. But it is so annoying, and has forced me to change watch to Garmin in the past. PLEASE FIX IT, please please.

Hi,
I'm working on integrating iCloud Drive functionality into my app. I noticed that the folder for my app appears under /Users/USERNAME/Library/Mobile Documents/MY_CONTAINER, but it doesn't show up in iCloud Drive.
Am I missing a step in the setup or configuration? Any guidance would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Hello,
We recently transferred our iOS app from an individual developer account to a corporate account. By following this guide (link), we successfully obtained the transfer identifiers for all our current users and have stored the data fetched from Apple.
Now that the transfer has been completed for about 10 hours, we're attempting to remap the old identifiers to the new ones using this guide (link). Unfortunately, all our requests are returning an 'invalid_request' error. I've noticed others have faced the same problem, but I haven't found a solution yet.
Can anyone help me resolve this issue?
Hi everyone,
I have an application that allows to share Core Data records through CKShare.
If I compile the app in debug or release mode on my devices with Xcode the Sharing functionality work like a charm, but if I download the application from App Store doesn't work, It seems that can't generate the link for sharing.
Does anyone have any idea why?
Thanks
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/sign_in_with_apple/revoke_tokens/
As shown in the documentation, when I tested via curl, I received a response with status 200, but when I logged in to account.apple.com with the linked account, it shows that it is still connected.
I would like to know if there is any additional way to verify that the revoke api is working properly.

Earlier this year implemented saving event tickets to Apple Wallet (and Google Wallet, which was painful by comparison!), as an optional alternative to recipients leaving the QR Codes in email or printing them.
Scanning barcodes on entry is done using camera on phones (either iPhone or Android). This is a somewhat pressured situation with lots of people needing scans in quite a short period of time. I do not do this myself but I do get feedback.
it was reported to me that Apple Wallet barcodes are significantly harder to scan accurately than those in Google Wallet. They think that is because the Apple QR Codes are quite a bit smaller (and presumably harder, therefore, to get focussed properly). They do work, it just takes longer to get a successful scan. This doesn’t seem to be anything I can control, and there seems to be plenty of space to make them bigger, even on my iPhone mini. These aren’t terribly dense barcodes; I imagine they would be harder still if they were. I also guess specialised barcode readers might do better, but we don’t have that luxury.
I’d appreciate it if they could be bigger when displayed in Apple Wallet, or at least to have that as an option.
I have two different USB devices with different vendor IDs I would like to connect to. I submitted two separate requests for the com.apple.developer.driverkit.transport.usb entitlement for each vendor ID. However I am noticing the provisioning profile only has one of the vendor IDs.
How do I submit a request for the USB Transport entitlement to support more than one vendor ID? I'm new to writing a DriverKit driver, so is this even possible?

When Call Blocking and Identification is enabled, information such as Caller Name, number and Call Identification Label is displayed correctly in the incoming call screen.
But in Recents screen the call record is not displaying any name or number but instead displays only the Call Identification label that was passed in CXCallDirectoryProvider is displayed.
Note: This issue is not observed when the call blocking and identification permission is not granted and the same code is working fine in iOS 17.x
We are implementing Apple Pay and Wallet features in our app and using mocked data for testing purposes. Specifically, in the status(completion:) method of PKIssuerProvisioningExtensionHandler, we return:
passEntriesAvailable: true,
remotePassEntriesAvailable: true,
requiresAuthentication: true,
In the passEntries(completion:) method, we provide mocked data for our card.
The issue is that the app icon inconsistently appears under the "From Apps on Your iPhone" section in the Wallet app. Sometimes it shows up as expected, but other times it does not.
On recent occasions, when the app is selected and mocked authorization is paased, the behavior includes a system error 'Cannot Add Card' even though we provided status that indicates that the app has available cards for Wallet.
For reference:
The app uses two bundle IDs supporting in-app provisioning and
PNO Pass Metadata has not been configured yet.
Could you help clarify the potential reasons for this inconsistent behavior?
