I have updated my ipad 7th gen to ipados18.3 Beta last week and I realized that there is no sound at all no sound from speakers and no sound from bluetooth devices and no sound from airplay, I've checked google and reddit and alot of research people told me its a software bug, i submitted a bug report and now im still waiting for a bug fix update, youtube dosent work neither spotify aswell their UI stops working when i try to use it, So how long do i have to wait for a bug fix? Thanks apple.

Hi, I did get the renew invoice in email but there was an additional charge the same day / time for $6.19 from Apple , seems like it is related but cannot find any invoice in email or anything other than a charge line on the credit card. Does anyone have any idea what this additional charge might be? Still waiting to hear back from Apple.

I'm experiencing an issue with my Apple Developer Program enrollment process:
Submitted initial enrollment application: Sat Jan 11 21:13 (7 days ago)
Current status: Stuck at "Purchase your membership" stage (pending)
Waited: 6+ days without any response or ability to proceed to payment
The system shows "Your purchase may take up to 48 hours to process" message
No payment has been processed yet as I cannot proceed to that step
I have not received any emails explaining the delay or requesting additional information. I've checked both my primary and spam folders.
Is this delay normal at the pre-payment stage? What would be the recommended next steps to resolve this situation?

So this is a long shot. My apple device has been hacked. In March, my credit card, which is in apple pay, started to get used, until May. It was used for thousands of dollars. In July i discovered installed and generally “invisible” files in the files app. I’ve called All IPhone that was a contact file.
when i started deleting everything from my phone, all messages and photos and accounts, it became obvious i was signed into the app store in a sandbox account i never signed up for or into. I believe this is one method by device as compromised through apple.
does anyone have any ideas on if it would be possible for a hacker to use my apple pay through some scam developer who had initiated a testing agreement between myself and them?
iPhone 15 Pro, 96% battery health. It all started last week when i was still on a 18.2 beta version. I figured updating would fix it but it s even worse now. It charges quickly and drains as quickly. Randomly shuts down at i.e. 93% battery percentage. After power off, it powers up with 10%, repeats the cycle and then it just sticks at 10%. I’ll update when I know for how long it stays like this. Meanwhile do you guys have any idea how to temporarily fix it or a workaround for the issue until further update will fix it?

I’m reaching out for assistance regarding an issue with my Apple Developer Program subscription.
I made the $99 USD payment for my subscription on January 10, 2025, but my account is still not active, and I am unable to publish my app. According to the process, activation should take up to 48 hours, but it has now been much longer without any updates.
Additionally, when I log into the Apple Developer website, I still see the "PURCHASE" button as if the payment was not processed.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue? If so, how was it resolved? Any guidance on what steps I should take next would be greatly appreciated.

I’m experiencing something strange with my phone’s storage, and I’m not sure what’s going on. Last year, I had nearly maxed out my storage at 255/256 GB, but suddenly, it dropped to around 100 GB, and now it’s fluctuating again—it decreased to 99 GB today. This is concerning, and I’m wondering if something might be wrong with my phone. Could someone help me understand what’s happening?
Here’s some context: my phone was being used for filming a school project, and I often got “insufficient storage” notifications. To make room, I deleted some apps, but I was still hovering around 250-253/256 GB of used storage.
Later, I heard that getting iCloud storage would free up space by storing photos in the cloud, so I subscribed to 200 GB of iCloud storage. I used it for about a day but then canceled the subscription after hearing it wasn’t effective at freeing up much space. Unfortunately, I didn’t check my storage before canceling the subscription, which I now realize was a mistake.
In December, I took a lot of photos and videos during trips, but I didn’t check my storage, assuming I’d hit full capacity soon. However, just two days ago, I checked my storage and was shocked to see that it had suddenly dropped to around 105 GB. This morning, it dropped again to about 100.96 GB. I read in an article that this could be a bug and that updating the software might help, so I updated my phone to iOS 18.
After the update, I checked my storage again, and it had dropped further to 94.16 GB. Then, in the same minute, it fluctuated to 94.99 GB, and four minutes later, it went down to 94.65 GB. Now, as I’m writing this, it’s back up to 95.58 GB.
Could anyone explain what’s going on?

Hi,
I am trying to use the new FileProvider feature available on macOS 15 to create a FileProvder domain on an external drive.
I am creating the domain with the initializer
init(displayName:, userInfo:, volumeURL:)
But when I try to add the domain with NSFileProviderManager.add()
I get error NSCocoaErrorDomain, code 3328 - feature not supported.
My external drive is APFS formatted and encrypted. I am checking its eligibility with
NSFileProviderManager.checkDomainsCanBeStoredOnVolume(at:)
and the result is "eligible".
What should be done to solve this problem - is there a specific entitlement I have to add? I checked the possible entitlements and I don't see anything pointing in this direction.

I am working on a project that contains a QuickLook View and Some ARViews. I want to restrict the entire app to Portrait orientation, but I want to allow the ARView to have Portrait and Landscape orientation.
If I restrict the app to Portrait in the Deployment Info settings, we can still turn the device to landscape in the ARView, However, there is an issue with "some" spatial audio files within the digital experience. Some spatial audio items, are placed appropriately, and others are panned oddly left.
If we allow Landscape Left and Right in the Deployment Info settings, all spatial audio behaves appropriately. So, we need to "lock" every other view as Portrait and only allow Portrait and Landscape on the ARView.
I'm not smart enough to know how to do that, but I found this excellent package on GitHub. It works as expected. https://github.com/wvteijlingen/swiftui-interface-orientation
However! When we wrap SwiftUI with UIKit, it appears every single view that contains an ARView is initialized at launch even though it is not visible. So, when the app launches, it is running multiple ARViews at once.
It appears we need to have some kind of lazy loading, so this doesn't occur, but again, I am not knowledgable enough for this yet. I tried to wrap it all in a LazyVStack, I tried a LazyView struct, but I couldn't get it to build appropriately.
I feel like this might be a common thing, so maybe there's already a simple answer I'm not able to locate? Any ideas??

First - I'm not a developer.
Some time ago I came across Sequoia Beta and installed it thinking it was just a usage data collection thing.
I recently wanted to delete it because I suspected it was causing other issues, but was only offered to have updates stopped.
My MacBook Pro M2 still says I'm running Sequoia 15.3 (Beta 24D5034f).
I have another, maybe unrelated issue and posted a question about it on Apple Community but the question was deleted and I was pointed here because I mentioned the Beta!
This was my question:
I can FaceTime from the iPhone but when I try to FaceTime from the Mac, I get a notification on the Mac saying:
"iPhone calls not available. Your iPhone is not configured to allow calls using this Mac".
My iPhone is a 14Plus on iOS 18.2.1 (22C161).
I've tried the iPhone and Mac fixes suggested by Apple but no luck there - that was all about turning iMessages and FaceTime off or signing out for both devices, then power cycling both devices.
I don't understand how this is supposed to work.
Could my issue be related to the Beta?
If so, and in any case, how do I remove the Beta?

Hi, I just bought iPhone few days ago, switched from Android after long time, the first thing I noticed is that refresh rate/frame rate is not constant for some reason. Android phones are having those 120 hz all the time but for some reason iPhone drops it In some situations which makes no sense at all, I want consistency in smoothness , I want phone to be same smooth all the tome, not that it changes it self depended on situation. I think you should just give us a option where we can choose to have variable refresh rate(because of saving power) or constant refresh rate (smoothest experience). Also what I noticed when I am in video call everything is perfectly smooth as it should be, once I end the video call the difference is noticeable immediately. Thanks in advance. Please consider this, Im 100% sure that Im not the only one who seeks for this option.

Basically, I always charge my phone at night to my limit 85%, but when I installed the iOS 18.3 beta 3, my iPhone charged to 100% at night when I was having always limit to 85%, my phone was overheated too. Did that only happened to me? Because I even checked and it’s on 85% limit.
