I have a iPhone 14 Pro Max device with iOS 18.2.1 but I am facing an in which the device gets restart abruptly.Interestingly, today the device is not restarting at all. I attempted a hard reset by pressing the volume up button, followed by the volume down button, and then holding the power button, but this method was unsuccessful. When I connect the device to a charger, the Apple logo appears, but it disappears after a short period, and the device does not progress beyond this point. After I got my repaired phone back from the shop, I noticed that iphone mirroring is not functioning like normal. I tried every solutions from deleting the .plist files and reset my phone's connection, but now it seems like the problem comes from the mirroring app itself. After deleting the .plist file and resetting the MBP, the setup for the mirroring app won't let me continue, as clicking the "continue" button only flash the descriptions of the mirroring feature for a slight moment, then return to the same setup UI as before. Is there anyway to completely delete and reinstall this app so that it functions again?

Hi everyone, I am wondering under which settings the camera(s) were set by the time they were calibrated. For instance, one aspect that is easy to find is the reference resolution of the images taken when calibrating the intrinsics, this is by retrieving intrinsicMatrixReferenceDimensions. Making sure that the principal point is referenced to the by the time resolution used when the calibration was ongoing. However, recently I saw that there are focusing modes that potentially displace the lens' physical position. Settings like: AutoFocusRangeRestriction: none, near, far setFocusModeLocked: Locks the lens position at the specified value, and sets the focus mode to a locked state. My concern lies the impact this focusing lens displacements have on the intrinsic matrix parameters, if the lens is displaced, these parameters no longer describe the camera since the lens position has changed w.r.t. the lensPosition set when they were calibrated [0-1]. If my understanding is correct the AutoFocusRangeRestriction is just a range freedom the system is allowed to auto-focus and not a specific lens position. Conversely, the setFocusModeLocked does indeed fix the lensPosition to a certain value [0 - 1]. In simple words, what is the focus lensPosition the cameras were set when calibrating them for intrnisics?

I am working in a corporate setting which does not allow us to login to icloud, thus I am unable to use device mirroring when my work really needs is, I am stuck with Quick time preview. I am quite sure, that this does not only apply to me.

I'm pretty desperate today and unfortunately it's making me sick, really sick. Yesterday I edited a note on a MacBook Pro, M2 processor, MacOS Sequoia 15.8.1 (-1) and today the text work I invested several days in is lost. My only option is to delete the note! So far I've had very, very good experiences with the Notes.app, robust, reliable, manageable range of functions. When integrating the math functions I became really suspicious for the first time. I had calculated series and sequences and suddenly the Note.app froze for a worryingly long time, in fact the entire operating system was blocked. Then today I got a huge shock, the note can no longer be opened, neither on the iPhone nor on the MacBook Pro. The note contained my business concept for a business partner. I had already been writing the concept for several days! I estimated the value at several thousand euros. This has torn me apart, I can feel myself getting sick. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow and it might take a week for me to get a sick note. I'm pretty shocked. Here are the technical details, in case someone at Apple Incorp. wants to look into it. The note contains links and photos and is encrypted! Which in and of itself is an impossibility. Or is it? In any case, the Notes.app has always stubbornly claimed that I cannot encrypt notes with this content. That's a paradox, isn't it? I'm schizophrenic! We are a technical team of a large enterprise whose main business depends on internally developed iOS applications. Our Apple enterprise developer account expires on February 16th, and we filled in the renewal application form before that, but it was rejected by Apple. We contacted the Apple consultant through Apple's official website, and they said that the enterprise department is a separate department, and they could not solve my problem. Later, after efforts, I directly contacted the email address of the enterprise department, and I explained our situation. After their review, the final plan still could not renew, but only extended the use of our P12 certificate, and the maximum extension was one year in the end, so that we can deal with the application that is being distributed by the enterprise as soon as possible. May I ask if there is any better way to successfully renew my account? We only extended the certificate, which is not what we want, but this is the only way at present. Another developer tried to start a screen-sharing session with me on my M1 MacBook Air this morning (Sequoia 15.3). He reported however that another session was already under way on my machine. I looked in System Settings and found that the "Screen Sharing" setting was grayed out, with the notation that "This service is currently being controlled by the Remote Management service". Access to the service is disabled however, and I have no way of turning it off. It's possible that the person who tried to help me got this session started, and that it then got aborted in some irregular way, but he see no indication of that and says there is no connection between us as seen from his end. This makes me nervous security-wise. Is there some way I can turn this off and ensure that I am not being screen-shared against my will, as it were? TIA, Howard

Hi, I did get the renew invoice in email but there was an additional charge the same day / time for $6.19 from Apple , seems like it is related but cannot find any invoice in email or anything other than a charge line on the credit card.
