After updating to iPad iOS26 , the software update area shows that it cannot check for updates. Is this normal?

Hi All, I searched for this feedback but didn't see it, so apologies if this has been covered by another thread. Exploring the new camera app, It doesn't seem to recognize that external storage has been connected, so the additional features that allow ProRes high frame rates will throw an error dialog stating that "to use this you need external storage" even when external storage is connected. Using the Files app, the phone recognizes the storage, and this is something I can do with this external storage device on the previous version of IOS. It is clear that this release of the camera has been rewritten significantly since the last version. Is it possible that this is an oversight, a bug, or just functionality that has not been completed? Interested if anybody else is seeing this, or if it is just my setup.

I'm currently trying the traditional mode on the latest beta and the slide-over and the traditional splitview is not available, I would like to ask if it's completely removed or just a minor bug because my automation app rely heavily on this old two feature

I recent installed IOS 26, with my iphone 15 as a machine. I am experiencing glitch on switching apps, switching users in a specific apps. Delay is also visible when unlocking the phone, typing, touching the screen, going back to the previous app (clicking the arrow button on the top left). When using a two fingers navigating the phone, the other finger is unrecognizable when clicking on to something. Overall, UI were elegant and amazing. Please fix the responsiveness and may consider lower versions of iphone when possible.

Hello Devs, I wanted to bring this up to display the frustration that I have obtaining the CarPlay entitlements. First and foremost they don't give you a set timeline and there is no contact number to speak to someone about this. When you call developer support they go on and say it is a different department. There is an email but all I have received is an automated response back to me. Has anyone received the navigation entitlements and if so what was the timeline of you receiving it?

The Apple logo and progress bar appear, and the progress bar gets about halfway through when the screen disappears, then reappears with the Apple logo and progress bar, and then eventually the progress bar just disappears, and only the Apple logo appears. After staring at that for an hour, I gave up and restored iOS 18.5. I made three attempts with Beta 1 and one attempt with Beta 2 and had the same results.

iPhone 16 Pro Max on iOS 18.5 before installing iOS 26 beta had no issues connecting to wired (there’s no wireless) CarPlay in my 2022 Honda Civic Sport. Now with IOS 26, my car recognizes that my phone is connected and asks if I want to use CarPlay and I click yes but it does nothing. I reset my head unit, reset all iPhone settings, checked different iPhone settings, tried different cables, can’t seem to determine what part of iOS 26 is causing the problem. Anyone have any ideas before I roll back to 18.5?

I’ve updated to iOS 26 Beta 1, and now I can’t revert to an earlier version because my iPhone automatically created a backup using the iOS 26 version. I’m also unable to check for updates—my device can’t retrieve information from the server, so it’s not detecting that Beta 2 is available. I need help resolving this issue, please.

Hi all, Im trying to upload an app to the App Store, the app is made in Unity, well I built the app there and then open the Xcode project, from there set some fields and now when I have to go to Product>> Archive I get an error always, could you please tell me what is this and how to fix? unsupported option -mno- thumb for target arm64-apple-ios 15.6 Im using Xcode 16.4 which I think is the latest version released. I’ve gathered system logs and app-level diagnostics and would really appreciate insight from anyone familiar with daemons, VPN tunnels, or MDM behavior on Apple platforms. Summary of Issues Over Time March 2025: Most apps begin logging out automatically when closed April 2025: Passwords across apps and browsers begin failing May–June 2025: Gmail password reset emails stop arriving (even though other email works) These symptoms suggest something affecting secure sessions, DNS routing, or background data handling. I began running diagnostics and found unexpected system and network behaviors: Examples: com.apple.mobile.lockdown.remote.trusted file_relay.shim.remote pcapd.shim.remote webinspector.shim.remote bluetooth.BTPacketLogger.shim.remote On a normal, non-jailbroken device, I wouldn't expect so many .shim.remote or .diagnostic services to be active. Is this expected on iOS 18.5? The binary /usr/sbin/scutil appears to be missing. This breaks commands like: scutil --dns scutil --proxy scutil --nc list On a standard iOS device, is it even possible for scutil to be removed or disabled? App Behavior and Config Locking (Cloudflare WARP Log) From the logs of the Cloudflare WARP app (not enterprise-managed): The app repeatedly forces VPN tunnels to reconnect or restart by injecting dummy URLs (force OS to restart the network extension process). It tries to load policy configuration from MDM and Teams APIs (even though no MDM appears in Settings). Many config items are marked as: locked: true, visible: true including: DNS logs Fallback DNS Trusted WiFi settings The account is labeled as: WarpAccountRole.child which may explain some restrictions — but I’ve never set this manually. This seems more advanced than what the standard WARP app does. Could a provisioning profile or side-loaded config be applying these? Key Questions for the Community Are ~50 remote diagnostic services (.shim.remote) normal on iOS 18.5 stock devices? Could a VPN app (e.g. WARP) or hidden config enforce flow-switching across interfaces like ipsec, awdl, and pdp_ip, even when not visibly active? Can a provisioning profile or managed config enable services like file_relay, pcapd, or webinspector silently — without any visible MDM profile? Has anyone seen scutil or other network tools missing on a stock iPhone? What could cause this? Does WARP in MASQUE mode normally lock DNS settings and force tunnel restarts — or could this indicate tampering? If anyone on iOS 18.5 / iPhone17,1 can share their remotectl_dumpstate output, I'd love to compare. Happy to share sanitized logs or run more tests if helpful. Yo i installed IOS 26 Beta to see how it is, and I want it to downgrade but Checking for Updates are unavailable and my iPhone 14 Pro is lagging i have 20-30 fps or something like that. And these Icons don’t wanna talk about it 🙏

Hi, Looking for guidance. Since RCS messaging became available via Apple I’ve used Messsages as my default application irrespective of whether sending messages to an iPhone or an Android handset. I’ve updated to the iOS 26 developer beta and RCS messaging is not available. When I check on messages under settings it constantly states ‘waiting for activation’ Is RCS not usable until the full version of iOS 26 is released in September? My network is EE in the United Kingdom
