I'm developing an iOS app that includes a feature to display a graph of the heart rate recorded during a route using the Apple Watch. Current Implementation I have successfully implemented data collection and transfer from the Apple Watch to the iPhone. The app's main UI correctly displays the user's real-time BPM. When the user stops the route, an analysis view is generated, showing speed and altitude (both work perfectly). Expected Behavior The user starts recording a route while monitoring heart rate. After tapping "Stop Route," an analysis view should display a heart rate graph along with speed and altitude data. Issue Encountered Despite multiple attempts, I have not been able to properly generate the heart rate graph. The only result I have achieved so far is a flat line with points representing the recorded BPM over time, instead of a proper graph. Request for Help If anyone has experience implementing a similar feature, I would appreciate any guidance on correcting my implementation. I can share: The file responsible for graph visualization. Basically, I always charge my phone at night to my limit 85%, but when I installed the iOS 18.3 beta 3, my iPhone charged to 100% at night when I was having always limit to 85%, my phone was overheated too. Did that only happened to me? Because I even checked and it’s on 85% limit.

Hi there, with the latest update, the ability to click in the file name field at the top of a document (eg Pages, Numbers) to add or change the name of the file, then select filing location, no longer works. Previously, a user could do this and then hit 'return' and it would save to that location with that new file name. It no longer does this. This is a very useful functionality to have. Can it be returned in a future update?

iPadOS 26 Dev Beta 1 - need to do a restore via DFU mode. I made sure iPad in normal mode shows up in Finder and I can see device details. When I boot into DFU mode (I have kept the ipad connected to mac), it does not show up in Finder. No matter what combination of plugging/unplugging cables, rebooting, again into DFU mode, it will not show up in Finder. Looking for steps to resolve this, or do I need to wait until beta 2 to resolve this?

Hi everyone, I am wondering under which settings the camera(s) were set by the time they were calibrated. For instance, one aspect that is easy to find is the reference resolution of the images taken when calibrating the intrinsics, this is by retrieving intrinsicMatrixReferenceDimensions. Making sure that the principal point is referenced to the by the time resolution used when the calibration was ongoing. However, recently I saw that there are focusing modes that potentially displace the lens' physical position. Settings like: AutoFocusRangeRestriction: none, near, far setFocusModeLocked: Locks the lens position at the specified value, and sets the focus mode to a locked state. My concern lies the impact this focusing lens displacements have on the intrinsic matrix parameters, if the lens is displaced, these parameters no longer describe the camera since the lens position has changed w.r.t. the lensPosition set when they were calibrated [0-1]. If my understanding is correct the AutoFocusRangeRestriction is just a range freedom the system is allowed to auto-focus and not a specific lens position. Conversely, the setFocusModeLocked does indeed fix the lensPosition to a certain value [0 - 1]. In simple words, what is the focus lensPosition the cameras were set when calibrating them for intrnisics?

Hello Devs, I wanted to bring this up to display the frustration that I have obtaining the CarPlay entitlements. First and foremost they don't give you a set timeline and there is no contact number to speak to someone about this. When you call developer support they go on and say it is a different department. There is an email but all I have received is an automated response back to me. Has anyone received the navigation entitlements and if so what was the timeline of you receiving it?

Hello, I’m reaching out here because I have exhausted all other support channels without success. I submitted an enrollment request for the Apple Developer Program on March 3, 2025 (Enrollment ID: 3CJFXN3AA3), and it’s now been over 2.5 months with no resolution. All required documents have been submitted, confirmed received by Apple Support, and multiple follow-ups have been made (Case #102541675488). Each time, I’m told that the case is still under review, but I haven’t received any clear update or timeline. Is there anything else I can do to move this process forward? Another developer tried to start a screen-sharing session with me on my M1 MacBook Air this morning (Sequoia 15.3). He reported however that another session was already under way on my machine. I looked in System Settings and found that the "Screen Sharing" setting was grayed out, with the notation that "This service is currently being controlled by the Remote Management service". Access to the service is disabled however, and I have no way of turning it off. It's possible that the person who tried to help me got this session started, and that it then got aborted in some irregular way, but he see no indication of that and says there is no connection between us as seen from his end. This makes me nervous security-wise. Is there some way I can turn this off and ensure that I am not being screen-shared against my will, as it were? TIA, Howard

Installed update on Monday night and since then keep losing Network connection despite resettting Network connections and iphone. Comes back for a short time after rsetting then is lost with nothing showing under Mobile Service.

I'm building a Live Activity using ActivityKit in iOS, and I'm trying to understand how apps like Uber or Lyft manage to keep the Dynamic Island always in its expanded state, without transitioning through the compact phase. In my implementation, the Live Activity always starts in the compact state, and only expands temporarily when I interact with it. I've tried the following: Updating the ContentState frequently using activity.update(using:) I tried updating the activity every 1 second, but it didn’t make a difference. Leaving the compactLeading, compactTrailing, and minimal regions empty using EmptyView() — also didn’t change the behavior. Delaying the initial update by 1 second — no effect. What I'm trying to figure out: Is there any way to programmatically force or request the Dynamic Island to stay in the expanded state? Could this behavior be achieved through push updates, using apns-push-type: liveactivity and a high priority (apns-priority)? What I’m trying to achieve is similar to the behavior shown in the images below — the apps do not transition to the compact island, but instead displays the expanded view immediately. Example:
