I'm developing an iOS app that includes a feature to display a graph of the heart rate recorded during a route using the Apple Watch. Current Implementation I have successfully implemented data collection and transfer from the Apple Watch to the iPhone. The app's main UI correctly displays the user's real-time BPM. When the user stops the route, an analysis view is generated, showing speed and altitude (both work perfectly). Expected Behavior The user starts recording a route while monitoring heart rate. After tapping "Stop Route," an analysis view should display a heart rate graph along with speed and altitude data. Issue Encountered Despite multiple attempts, I have not been able to properly generate the heart rate graph. The only result I have achieved so far is a flat line with points representing the recorded BPM over time, instead of a proper graph. Request for Help If anyone has experience implementing a similar feature, I would appreciate any guidance on correcting my implementation. I can share: The file responsible for graph visualization. I'm running into issues with iOS respecting the HTTP 410 "Gone" response type. Setup: Using the native iOS Calendar app, add a new subscription calendar. "Add Subscription Calendar" Add the URL of a ICS calendar subscription that you control, e.g. https://mywebsite.com/userfeeds/23/cal.ics Make sure to select the "Account" option and choose "On My iPhone/iPad". Set the query amount to 15 mins. Calendar events show as expected, device queries the latest updates from the server every 15 minutes. Server returns HTTP 200 with the .ics contents. Now, assume there is a need for the feed to end - maybe the user unsubscribed to mywebsite.com. There is currently no way for the mywebsite.com server / response to tell the device the feed has ended and it should stop requesting. If the user forgets to go to calendar and manually unsubscribe the device will continually ping the server every 15 minutes indefinitely. It's turning into a virtual DoS for my platform. iOS should respect the HTTP 410 "Gone" header or something similar. If the server returns a HTTP 410 response code for https://mywebsite.com/userfeeds/23/cal.ics X amount of times, the feed should be automatically removed. I've opened several tickets over the last 3 years and have not even had a status change on the tickets. Does anyone know how to resolve this or a work around?

Currently running 15.5 Beta 3 on a Mac Studio M4. I am unable to read/write to my Home folder from most of my applications. I receive an error basically saying I do not have access rights to the file/folder. If I go to the file directly and open it, it works. I have repaired disk permissions, checked the Sharing & Permissions settings via Get Info, and finally called Apple. Of course, since I am running the beta, the support was quite limited. I will add that I am also unable to open .dmgs that have been downloaded to my Downloads folder. I receive the "The disk image couldn’t be opened. The operation couldn’t be completed. Operation not permitted" error. If I copy the .dmg to another drive, I can open it from there.

I developed a Desktop application using Electron. This application can be opened on Mac computers and computers with other chips, but cannot be opened on a computer with an M3 Max chip. I’m trying to register an Apple Developer Account for my company. I uploaded all the required documents, but my initial application was rejected, and I was asked to provide notarized translations of my documents. I translated them and submitted everything for review on April 1. After a week without a response, I contacted Apple Support. They replied that the documents had been received and were under review. However, as of today, April 24, my account is still under review. I’ve sent five follow-up emails to Support asking for a status update on my case, but I haven’t received any replies. Hi Everyone, I’m currently working on a flow where a web page redirects to our app to perform certain actions, and then returns the user back to the browser. However, on iOS, the only way to go back to the browser is by using the openURL method. The issue is that this method can only open the browser app itself—it can’t control which tab or page is shown, so the user doesn’t return to the original tab they came from. The same limitation also applies to Android. Furthermore, iOS doesn’t allow an app to programmatically return to the previous app (in this case, the browser). While Android doesn’t have an official way either, in some cases, the OS automatically returns to the previous app when ours is closed. I’d like to ask: Is there any known method or workaround that allows returning from my app back to Safari (or the default browser) and restoring the previously active web page or tab? Or, is there any way to programmatically return to the previous app from within my app? Thanks in advance for your support!

I’ve recently updated to ios 18.4.1 and I have problems with the internet. Things download painfully slow, an application that used to download in 10 seconds is now downloading in 2 minutes. Videos tend to stop at some point and when i fast forward them it stops to load a little when on the previous version it would work fine. It feels like my internet aged 30 years in 10 minutes. I’ve tried on other phones (not iphones) and it works just fine. Is it from the update or is it just my internet?

I updated my Macbook Pro this week, macOS Sequoia 15.3.2 and now the Password app isn't working. When I log into my regularly saved sites, and I click user name, the Password app login modal pops up, but when I click it, NOTHING happens. If I manually type in my user name (which was unnecessary prior to the recent update), then SOMETIMES I get the fingerprint, but most times I don't. I am using the Chrome browser. I have attached a screenshot of the typical issue I experience.

I have tried everything. Different addresses, different credit cards, then it appears pending, but the credit card is never charged and then it "resets", meaning I can do the whole process again as if nothing had happened. I’m developing an app that has a Fitbit login page embedded in a WKWebView. On the Fitbit login page, there is a Google login button. When I try to log in to Fitbit via Google, some devices redirect back to the Fitbit login page even after entering the correct Google credentials. However, it works on the second attempt. I tested the same URL in the default browser, and it works fine when the page is loaded in the browser instead of inside the WebView. I tried the following workarounds but was unable to fix the issue: 1. Enabled JavaScript in WebView. 2. Tried cookie synchronization between WKWebsiteDataStore and HTTPCookieStorage.

Hi, I have a question related to eligibility. If we consider the eligibility rules and the submission window doesn't change for next year and if the challenge is still happening, would I be eligible in the following scenario - I graduated from an American University for my undergraduate in December 2025, and the submission is in February 2026, according to "Be enrolled in, or have graduated within the last 90 days from, an accredited academic institution or official homeschool equivalent, or an Apple Developer Academy", am I eligible. I am not sure if it applies to university or just high school. If you don't want to answer the hypothetical answer for next year. Take this scanerio, would I have been eligible for this year's challenge if I had graduated from university in December 2024. Thank you
