"We have a multi-tenant EdTech platform serving over 1500 clients, each with a unique domain (e.g., client1.eduapp.com). We use WKWebView in a native shell. Due to WKAppBoundDomains restriction, we can't dynamically list all domains. Universal Links not opening my app.
My app has been published by 2 months now I still I cant get Universal Links to work. I checked a lot of docs as well as videos about setting up universal links. Everyone with clear steps: Add the well-known json file to the server. Already validated by AASA web validator. Add the Associated domain on project capabilities, with the Web page root only. Eg: applinks:example:com. Install the app and trying clicking a link from notepad. Or instead make a long press to deploy contextual menu to see if my app is on the selectable options to open the link. My app is not been open in any of my attempts and the console always trying to use safari. I had a couple of screenshots of my testing. I really need help with this.

Getting started with PHP ..
I am new to PHP. I have developed my own web site with a lot of javascript in simple HTML files. I want to do some extensions with PHP but I can't make a simple web page function. I am sure something simple is wrong. Help! Issue with Copy Functionality in WKWebView Using Mac Catalyst
Hello, I am developing a Mac application via Mac Catalyst and encountering an issue with WKWebView. Specifically, I'm loading a webpage (e.g., https://translate.google.com) in WKWebView, but when I press the copy button on the page, the content doesn't actually copy to the clipboard. I've attempted modifying the UserAgent without any success. Selenium reports an error when taking screenshots during tests on Safari
We attempted to perform automated testing (using Python) on an 11th generation iPad (iPad A16) using Selenium 4.38.0, but we were unable to capture webpage screenshots using the function "driver.save_screenshot(filename)". However, this issue did not occur on an iPad Air 4. During our debugging of the "WebDriver.py" script, we found that after issuing the screenshot command, a status value of 500 was returned, accompanied by an "unknown error". We have communicated with the Selenium team and provided the main Python code(https://github.com/SeleniumHQ/selenium/issues/16555). They suggested that the problem likely lies within the SafariWebDriver, rather than in the "remote_webdriver.py" file. Additionally, we tried using the SafariWebDriver provided by Safari Technology Preview, but the problem persisted.

[iOS 26 Beta] event.target.value is always empty — only from specific script domains
Hey everyone, After installing iOS 26 beta, I started noticing unexpected behavior in our input event handlers. Specifically, when users type into an field, event.target.value is always an empty string — but only when the JS file is loaded from a specific domain (e.g., t1.daumcdn.net). The exact same code works perfectly when hosted on other domains like t2.daumcdn.net or search1.daumcdn.net. 👉 I created a demo here: 🔗 https://codepen.io/bzasklcu-the-sans/pen/rNXogxL The scripts loaded from each domain are 100% identical (apart from the top-level selector). Before iOS 26 beta, this worked fine. Custom WkWebsiteDatastore
Hey team, I've integrated custom WkWebsiteDatastore to manage profiling for different sessions. upon testing the WkWebsiteDataStore as its mentioned to be persistent But The storage can be accessed via identifier, But the session data in storage is absent, such as cookies caches all are cleared when app is relaunched is it the default behavior to be expected or there is some property missing causing the session data to be removed from storage.

I have a Swift binary helper that works as a native messaging host for Chrome, Edge, and Firefox using stdin/stdout. I want to use the same binary for a Safari Web Extension as well.
Since Safari requires a macOS app as a container for Web Extensions, is there a way to establish native messaging directly from SafariWebExtensionHandler using stdin/stdout? Or does Safari enforce a different communication mechanism? I’d like to keep the same approach as other browsers. Any guidance on making this work would be appreciated!

Apple Pay button not showing up in apple pay demo site.
MacOS: 12 ( Monterrey ) Safari: 17.6 Demo Site: https://applepaydemo.apple.com/ At the bottom where the Apple Pay button should appear, I see a warning something like "This browser doesn't support Apple Pay, please use safari" along with a link to requirements for apple pay. All the requirements are fulfilled, OS and Safari's version are above the minimum required. Link was opened in Safari. And the other thing is if I open the same site in Chrome, I can see the apple pay button and when I click on it a QR appears which is the expected behaviour. How to resolve this?

Need to fix audio auto-play for iPhone mobile users (specifically on safari and chrome)
Hi! My team and I are developing an education platform. One of our features is a auto-play flashcard feature where users can listen to their flashcards hands free. We are having an issue where the autoplay wont work for users with iPhone's. I think the rule is that user's are supposed to give consent to the auto-play. We do make the user hit play before it starts so that should be the "constent" but it's still not working. Anyone have ideas?

Embedded Power BI reports crashes in mobile layout using iOS
We're embedding the Power BI reports into our portal by using JS library. While testing them, we found that mobile layout of the reports don't work as we expect on iOS devices (tested in Chrome and Safari). There are two principals issues: 1) the site is automatically refreshed when the users filter the data (we reduced them to lower expression) and 2) the site also crashes after a while using the dashboard by applying different filters.

Handling POST-based Authentication Flow with ASWebAuthenticationSession and MDM Client Certificate
Hello, I have an authentication flow where my app communicates with a backend protected by F5 client certificate validation. The client certificate is distributed via MDM and is available in the device keychain, but not accessible directly from the app. When using ASWebAuthenticationSession (or SFSafariViewController) Safari can successfully pick up and present the certificate during authentication, so that part works fine. However, the backend’s authenticate endpoint only supports a POST request with an Authorization header, whereas ASWebAuthenticationSession only accepts a GET URL when starting the session. My questions are: How is this type of flow typically implemented in iOS? Should the backend provide a GET-based endpoint that redirects into the POST, or is there a recommended iOS pattern (e.g., an intermediate HTML page that does the POST after certificate validation)? Are there Apple guidelines on handling certificate-based auth with ASWebAuthenticationSession when the API requires POST, especially for In-House distributed apps? Any guidance or best practices would be very helpful.

In Safari's JavaScript geolocation, is altitude based on MSL or WGS84 ellipsoid?
Hello all, I'm trying to retrieve geolocation data on the web, but I'm having trouble with the altitude value, which seems to differ from what I get on Android. WebPage "older version of your browser"
I have a visionOS app using Apple's WebView and WebPage to display web content. When viewing a live YouTube stream last night, YouTube put up the warning in the area that would have the chat window: Oh no! It looks like you're using an older version of your browser. Please update it to use live chat. Anyone know if YouTube is generating this from the server based on the WebPage's user agent string, from Javascript running in the browser engine, or something else? While testing them, we found that mobile layout of the reports don't work as we expect on iOS devices (tested in Chrome and Safari). There are two principals issues: 1) the site is automatically refreshed when the users filter the data (we reduced them to lower expression) and 2) the site also crashes after a while using the dashboard by applying different filters.

Handling POST-based Authentication Flow with ASWebAuthenticationSession and MDM Client Certificate
Hello, I have an authentication flow where my app communicates with a backend protected by F5 client certificate validation. The client certificate is distributed via MDM and is available in the device keychain, but not accessible directly from the app. When using ASWebAuthenticationSession (or SFSafariViewController) Safari can successfully pick up and present the certificate during authentication, so that part works fine. However, the backend’s authenticate endpoint only supports a POST request with an Authorization header, whereas ASWebAuthenticationSession only accepts a GET URL when starting the session. My questions are: How is this type of flow typically implemented in iOS? Should the backend provide a GET-based endpoint that redirects into the POST, or is there a recommended iOS pattern (e.g., an intermediate HTML page that does the POST after certificate validation)? Are there Apple guidelines on handling certificate-based auth with ASWebAuthenticationSession when the API requires POST, especially for In-House distributed apps? Any guidance or best practices would be very helpful.

In Safari's JavaScript geolocation, is altitude based on MSL or WGS84 ellipsoid?
Hello all, I'm trying to retrieve geolocation data on the web, but I'm having trouble with the altitude value, which seems to differ from what I get on Android. WebPage "older version of your browser"
I have a visionOS app using Apple's WebView and WebPage to display web content. When viewing a live YouTube stream last night, YouTube put up the warning in the area that would have the chat window: Oh no! It looks like you're using an older version of your browser. Please update it to use live chat. Anyone know if YouTube is generating this from the server based on the WebPage's user agent string, from Javascript running in the browser engine, or something else? Anyone know if and how it is possible to resolve this? (See right side of YouTube web page from a screen grab):
