Is there a way to limit the MusicKit JWT tokens to just the Apple Music API using scopes?
Hi, I'm generating MusicKit JWT tokens on my backend side and using it on the client side to query the Apple Music API. One concern I have is accidentally over issuing the scope of this JWT, resulting in accidental access more services than intended like DeviceCheck or APNS. Other than using separate keys for MusicKit and other services, is there a way to limit the generated JWT to only the Apple Music API (https://api.music.apple.com/v1/*) using the JWT payload scope?

Cannot create Expo prebuild
I'm creating a clean project in Expo without Typescript. I run the command “npx expo prebuild” normally, but when I run the command “npx expo run:ios” I get the error “PhaseScriptExecution [CP-User]\ Generate\ Specs /Users/bogdanlyamzin/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/testapp-gbckopevfunjmtanprbgmojuogrr/Build/Intermediates. noindex/Pods.build/Debug-iphonesimulator/ReactCodegen.build/Script-46EB2E0001C6B0.sh (in target 'ReactCodegen' from project 'Pods')”. Can you please tell me how to fix it? Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Docker won't run on Sequoia 15.4
I'm on Mac Studio with Apple M1 Max and I recently upgrated to Sequoia 15.4. After that, Docker won't run anymore. I tried almost all proposed solutions on the web to make Docker to work with Sequoia 15.4 (e.g. workaround at GitHub), without success. Because of this, now I'm stuck in all of my development activities. For example, I cannot develop and deploy anymore my projects and applications. What can I make to solve that?

What is the unit used for the availableKilobytes property of the target object?
In the online documentation for InstallerJS, it is stated that the unit for the availableKilobytes property of the target field is kilobytes. Isn't it actually bytes because of a bug in the very first release of macOS that supported InstallerJS? [Q] Has there been a fix in the recent years regarding this property that would explain why the documentation says it's kilobytes? Even though at the time of this writing, the unit is still bytes when you call my.target.availableKilobytes I'm using this call to dump the value of this property in install.log: system.log(my.target.availableKilobytes + ''); Ref. https://developer.apple.com/documentation/installer_js/target/1811975-availablekilobytes (FB20448952)

First time user here. Trying to build my React-Native app on xcode. I keep getting "Could not build Module" and "missing package product" and tried many combination for my Podfile. I am on macbook pro M2, XCode version 16.2, building on iphone 16 v18.3.1. Pod version 1.16.2, react-native-cli:2.0.1, Here is my Podfile. I tried to assign modular_headers to individual Firebase packages but then I cant pod install. require_relative '../node_modules/react-native/scripts/react_native_pods' require_relative '../node_modules/@react-native-community/cli-platform-ios/native_modules' use_modular_headers! platform :ios, '18.0' prepare_react_native_project! target 'plana' do config = use_native_modules! use_react_native!( :path => config[:reactNativePath], :fabric_enabled => false, :app_path => "#{Pod::Config.instance.installation_root}/.." ) post_install do |installer| react_native_post_install( installer, config[:reactNativePath], :mac_catalyst_enabled => false, ) end end

"No Such Module" When Using Mergable Libraries In a Static XCFramework
I'm attempting to create a proof of concept of a static library, distributed as an XCFramework, which has two local XCFramework dependencies. The reason for this is because I'm working to provide a single statically linked library to a customer, instead of providing them with the static library plus the two dependencies. The Issue With a fairly simple example project, I'm not able to access any code from the static library without the complier throwing a "No such module" error and saying that it cannot find one of the dependent modules. Project Layout I have an example project that has some example targets with basic example code. Example Project on Github Target: FrameworkA Mach-0 Type: Dynamic Build Mergable Library: Yes Skip Install: No Build Libraries For Distribution: Yes Target: FrameworkB Mach-0 Type: Dynamic Build Mergable Library: Yes Skip Install: No Build Libraries For Distribution: Yes XCFrameworks are being generated from these two targets using Apple's recommendations. I've verified that the mergable metadata is present in both framework's Info.plist files. Each exposes a single struct which will return an example String. Finally I have my SDK target: Target: ExampleKit Mach-0 Type: Static Build Mergable Library: No Create Merged Binary: Manual Skip Install: No Build Libraries For Distribution: Yes The two .xcframework files are in the Target's folder structure as well. The "Link Binary With Libraries" build phase includes them and they're Required. Inside of the ExampleKit target, I have a single public struct which has two static properties which return the example strings from FrameworkA and FrameworkB. I then have another script which generates an XCFramework from this target. Expectations Based on Apple's documentation and the "Meet Mergable Libraries" WWDC session I would expect that I could make a simple iOS app, link the ExampleKit.xcframework, import ExampleKit inside of a file, and be able to access the single public struct present in ExampleKit. Unfortunately, all I get is "No such module FrameworkA". I would expect that FrameworkA and FrameworkB would have been merged into ExampleKit? I'm really unsure of where to go from here in debugging this. And more importantly, is this even a possible thing to do?

Apple Mail unsubscribe feature is returning encoded characters in the unsubscribe mail
Hi team, we have a large-scale application in use that sends bulk emails to thousands of users. We adhere to all standard guidelines and protocols, and our email addresses are whitelisted to ensure they are not considered spam. Our users create email alerts on our platform and receive notifications on their respective email addresses. These communications are not unknown, spam, or unsolicited marketing. To maintain trust with our users, we provide an unsubscribe feature as per RFC2369-compliant. We have added list unsubscribe headers with mailTo implementation and sent it to outlook/gmail accounts. However, when unsubscribed, the email seems to be having the encoded characters as is. Whereas the same is working fine in other email clients without any encodings. The headers were implemented according to the List-Unsubscribe headers as specified in the IETF RFC and our emails are purely transactional in nature. This is a critical issue for a large organization like ours and while it works properly on Gmail web and mobile, it is essential for us to check with Apple Mail client as well. This situation undermines our commitment to user trust and compliance. Can anybody assist me why the encoding is showing up? Would like to know whats the process involved to enable the unsubscribe button in Apple mail client application?

Developing First Ever IOS App - Have Very Specific Questions to Unblock my Testing
I have developed an app that I had been testing on the hardware device with the developer profile signed builds, I had setup a CloudKit container in development mode and also had tested with Production mode and they are working as expected. I have also tested storekit auto renewal subscriptions using Storekit Config file and all of that is working on the hardware device with the developer profile signed builds. Now comes the Fun Part, I want to use the Distribution profile to test the app for production readiness, I had created a distribution profile and had set that up in the Release under target of the app in Xcode, I have also created sandbox tester account (which is showing inactive even after 7 days - though I am also logged in with this sandbox tester account on a hardware device and under developer setting it shows as a sandbox tester account) All the subscriptions are showing Ready to Submit in the App Store Connect. I need help understand this whole flow, how to ensure I can test CloudKit and storekit for production readiness and then publish my app for the review. Thank you.

Automatic process in assembling app and send to Apple Store
Hello! We would like to know the steps required to build an application and submit it to the Apple Store using an automated process on a server. Here are our conditions: We have a server running macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 on Amazon EC2. Xcode 16.1 (Build version 16B40) is installed. We use only console commands, as the GUI is not available. We use Cordova to add the iOS platform to the application. A private key, certificate, and provisioning profile have already been created and are located on the server. Could you please clarify: What commands are needed to configure the Keychain to use the certificate and provisioning profile? How can we build the application using xcodebuild? What are the steps to sign and submit the application to the App Store with minimal human interaction? Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Inconsistent results involving code signatures and bundles
I admit I am doing something unusual, and I would not be surprised if it didn't work. I am surprised, however, because after performing the equivalent operations on four bundles, all of the bundles work fine on macOS 15.6.1, but only two of them work on macOS 26.1 (beta 2). I don't know what causes the different outcomes. What I am trying to do is get Java to pass the macOS 26 AppKit UI SDK linkage checking without having to rebuild the JDK using Xcode 26. Rebuilding works for the latest SDK, but it is very inconvenient and may not work for older JDKs. It usually takes a while before the JDK build team successfully transitions to a new Xcode release. My approach is to use vtool to update the sdk version in the LC_BUILD_VERSION load command of $JAVA_HOME/bin/java, which is the launching executable for the JDK. I performed this operation on four JDKs: 25, 21, 17, and 11. (I ran vtool on macOS 15.) It was completely successful on JDK 25 and 21. The JDK launches correctly on macOS 15 and macOS 26. On macOS 26, AppKit uses the new UI, which is the desired outcome. The JDK runs despite that fact that I signed the modified $JAVA_HOME/bin/java with my developer ID, which is inconsistent with the JDK bundle signature. (Redoing the bundle signing is part of the JDK build process; if that were necessary, I would stick with rebuilding the JDK.) The operation was not successful on JDK 17 and 11. I noticed two problems, which are not obviously related. When vtool created the new version of the java program, it lost the tool definition. $ vtool -show-build-version java java: Load command 10 cmd LC_BUILD_VERSION cmdsize 32 platform MACOS minos 11.0 sdk 11.1 ntools 1 tool LD version 609.8 $ vtool -set-build-version 1 10.0 26.0 -output a.out java /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/vtool warning: code signature will be invalid for a.out $ vtool -show-build-version a.out a.out: Load command 22 cmd LC_BUILD_VERSION cmdsize 24 platform MACOS minos 10.0 sdk 26.0 ntools 0 Adding back the tool definition didn't seem to matter. When I try to run the revised executable (in the context of the JDK bundle), it works on macOS 15, but on macOS 26, it is rejected as damaged. If I run the revised executable outside the JDK bundle, it runs (but fails because it can't find the rest of the JDK, which is expected). In all cases, GateKeeper rejects the revised executable because it has not been notarized, but that doesn't seem to stop the program from executing.
