Hello. I need to develop for iOS 18. I've recently updated Xcode and it says I have to download ios 26 platform. I don't need it, but I can no longer build my existing projects against ios 18, even though Xcode says it's still installed and used 13 days ago. How to I remedy this?

Hello,
In my App.xcdatamodeld I have an entity called File.
When I am building the project with Xcode, file FileEntity+CoreDataProperties.swift is generated.
After upgrading Xcode to version 26.0 (17A324), I am getting the warning:
Public import of 'CoreData' was not used in public declarations or inlinable code
Any idea how to get rid of this warning since it's a generated file and I can't see any option to change it?

I’m looking for iOS and Apple Watch users to help beta test ChoreFit, a fitness app that transforms everyday chores into measurable workouts using NEAT (Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis) science.
What it does:
• Tracks chores like vacuuming, mopping, and laundry as real workouts
• Syncs with Apple Health for steps, heart rate, and calories
• Lets you start or pause chores right from your Apple Watch
• Adjusts effort based on body weight and optional weighted vests
What I need from testers:
• Install via TestFlight (link provided once approved)
• Use the app during normal household tasks
• Share feedback on usability, Apple Watch sync, and calorie accuracy
If you’re interested in movement tracking, fitness analytics, or wearable integration, I’d love your help validating and refining this app before public release.
«Hello everyone, after installing iOS 26, I noticed that on my iPhone 13 Pro, which had its battery replaced, the battery status in the settings shows 0%, and the phone does not charge more than 1%, no matter how long I leave it plugged in. The same problem is observed on iPhones 14 and lower where the battery (FB18154101) was replaced.»

Dear Apple Developer Community,
I hope this message finds you well. I'm seeking guidance regarding an issue with my Apple Developer account and the future status of my app.
Issue Summary:
Account Status: My Apple Developer account has been locked (cannot be used) without any clear reason. Despite contacting both Apple Support and Apple Developer Support, I haven't received a workable solution to regain access.
App Status: Currently, my mobile app remains visible and downloadable on the Apple App Store.
Concerns:
Future of the App: I'm concerned about the future availability of my app. I've heard that apps associated with locked or inactive developer accounts might be archived or removed after a certain period. Is this accurate? If so, what is the typical timeframe for such actions?
Similar Experiences: Has anyone in the community encountered a similar situation with their developer account being locked and cannot be used? If so, were you able to resolve it, and how?
I appreciate any insights or advice from those who have faced similar challenges or have knowledge in this area. Your assistance would be invaluable in helping me navigate this situation.

After the last OS26 developer beta update the watch series 6 battery drains fast, in less than two hours life. I visited Apple Store , they said the battery was dead so I had to buy new watch series 10
The same issue happened in the new watch, the battery meter shows 50% after 1 hour
Right now I’ve downgraded my update version to beta 11 until I can find a solution

Hello everyone,
Since iOS 18, there has been an issue where it’s not possible to set up custom IMAP accounts using one’s own domain. However, IMAP accounts from providers like Strato or other hosting services work without any problems.
When will Apple finally resolve this issue?
Is there already a solution for the problem?
Disabling "Tracking IP" under Wi-Fi Settings doesn’t help.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the Mail app also doesn’t resolve the issue.
Thank you for your help.
It would be nice if someone from Apple could comment on this matter. Thank you very much!

When attempting to use apple promotional offers for subscriptions I consistently receive the popup that says "Offer Not Available" for both production and sandbox. Without offer code purchase working fine. I have verified the App Store Connect setup and client side code and even created new offer codes also, but I have hit a dead end.
Error:- (Error Domain=SKErrorDomain Code=18 "(null)" UserInfo={NSUnderlyingError=0x280dbb0f0 {Error Domain=ASDServerErrorDomain Code=3904 "Offer Not Available" UserInfo={NSLocalizedFailureReason=Offer Not Available}}})
I am having some serious issues with all of my music apps on the latest beta of iPadOS 18.3.
when I try to open them , the splash page pops open , freezes then crashes.
i can open Logic Pro and it opens fine, but if I try to open a project with any of my third party music apps in that project, Logic gives me an error message stating that it can’t access coremidi. It gives me the option to continue and then proceeds to play the project without issue, with all of the third party apps functioning within Logic. If I try to open a third party program outside of Logic ( that just played in Logic) the 3rd party app crashes.
Anyone else having issues with their 3rd party music apps? I have never had so many apps in a particular genre that just wouldn’t function in any of the recent betas.
I'm suddenly receiving zero products from SKProductsRequest, even though this setup previously worked without issues. The debugger shows that both of my product identifiers are now being returned under invalidIdentifiers, and response.products is empty.
I’ve confirmed the following:
There are no pending agreements in App Store Connect.
The subscription is active and configured correctly.
The product identifiers match exactly with what’s defined in App Store Connect.
Here is the delegate method I'm using (unchanged from when it previously worked):
extension UpgradeViewModelProvider: SKProductsRequestDelegate {
func productsRequest(_ request: SKProductsRequest, didReceive response: SKProductsResponse) {
if response.products.count > 0 {
delegate.send(.onProduct(response.products))
}
}
}
Since everything was functioning before, I’m trying to understand what may have caused the identifiers to suddenly be marked as invalid. Any guidance or suggestions on what to check next would be greatly appreciated.
Hello,
One of our apps has been rejected under Guideline 4.3 for spam.
Our studio has been on the App Store for 10+ years and this particular app has been available for over two years without previous issue.
We have submitted a couple responses to the original rejection outlining why we think our app is unique and not spam and unfortunately we have been rejected. I have also submitted an appeal and requested a phone call.
This is compounded by a live issue happening in our app right now that requires a build to unblock. I added that to our review notes for submission but was rejected.
We believe we have been flagged as spam in error and would like to release builds to our active players ASAP to get them unblocked and provide further value to them.
Beyond submitting an appeal and requesting a call is there anything else I can do?
.fullScreenCover(isPresented: $isShow) {
Button(action : {
isPresented.toggle()
}){
Text("Choose")
}
.familyActivityPicker(
isPresented: $isPresented,
selection: $selection)
.onChange(of: selection){ value in
}
}
In the official version of iOS 18, when I click the Done button of familyActivityPicker, the fullScreenCover pop-up box will disappear.
Is there some public git repo hosting "https://developer.apple.com/documentation"?

Hi - I've been using logic for a few years now. Three days ago I whilst opening it, a pop up said MIDICORE was not working and I haven't been able to fix it since.
I read online that booting up in safe mode + opening audio MIDI set up would fix it, thing is audio MIDI set up wont load up.
Anyone knows how I can fix it? I am on the verge of tears as I cannot seam to find any information online about audio MIDI set up not opening. And I cannot seam to fix the MIDI issue without it.
Thanks!
Hi I experience this problem after update to the newest developer beta software on my iphone 17 pro:
blackmagic camera said "storage full" although it is not
final cut camera said "close and open the app again"
It still works with prores (not raw).
Anyone has the same problem as mine?
I did try uninstall and reinstall the app and also restart the phone, try using different external ssd drive but nothing works.

As developers of an app with a free basic version and a paid premium version, we recently received a malicious review on our premium app. The review falsely accused our app of being a scam and baselessly claimed it was error-ridden. This comment is clearly malicious and designed to dissuade other users from purchasing our app. The most critical point is that we haven’t had any sales records in that region recently.
In response to this review, we promptly contacted Apple Support but received only a generic, templated response stating that no action would be taken. We followed up with another complaint about the review, but it was still dismissed. Apple Support provided a link to their guidelines, and within those guidelines, we found specific clauses that Apple should act upon in cases like this. We sent another email pointing this out, but we’ve received no response since.
It feels like developers are left defenseless against such malicious reviews. When we face these attacks, there’s no fair judgment, and Apple doesn’t uphold the very policies it has set to protect developers’ rights. If this continues, how can developers trust this platform to safeguard their basic interests?

Beta Update Feedback: iOS 18.3
The iOS 18.3 beta update has been a deeply frustrating experience due to numerous critical issues that severely impact the device's functionality. Below is a detailed report of the problems encountered:
All major social applications, including WhatsApp, Instagram, and Photos, consistently crash. When launching these apps, the screen often turns dark before reverting to the home screen. This issue persists across other third-party and native apps, making the device unusable for basic tasks.
The system frequently hangs, failing to process basic operations effectively. Restarting the device is often the only temporary solution; however, even after multiple restarts, the issues remain unresolved.
Significant charging drops are observed, and the device intermittently fails to recognize the charger. Charging efficiency has drastically decreased, creating inconvenience for daily usage.
The Photos app is riddled with bugs, making it nearly impossible to use. Basic functions such as viewing, editing, or sharing photos do not work properly.
Every aspect of the update feels unstable, with issues cropping up in every corner of the system. The phone’s functionality has deteriorated, so it no longer performs as expected.
Device Affected: iPhone 13
Impact Level: Severe
This update has caused immense frustration and has made the iPhone 13 difficult.
