I received an email from Apple saying they couldn't auto-renew my developer subscription, due to a "billing error."
I went in and deleted my lone payment method (which looked up-to-date), and created a new one for the same credit card in my developer account for billing. All the information appears correct. I've downloaded the Developer app, where it tells me my developer subscription is good through next month. There's a Renew button underneath. If I click on it, an alert says either "Unknown Error" (first time after launching), or it says "Unable to Continue. Please ensure your device and iCloud account meet our system requirements. Visit https://developer.apple.com/support/app-account/" (subsequent times). These are near-useless error messages. Which doesn't sound like a billing error.
I don't pay anything for an iCloud account, nor wish to use an iCloud account. I'm running System 12.1 on my M1 MacBook Pro.
After an hour of talking with three different humans at 1-800-MY-APPLE, they couldn't help, basically giving up and telling me to go to developer.apple.com/support/technical. But that's for submitting a TSI (Technical Support Incident) for my own needs as a developer, not for Apple's uninformative software.
All I want to do is renew my developer subscription. Something's obviously wrong, but the automated system isn't providing enough information to continue, and the humans at the other end of the phone don't have enough information to help. The last guy I talked with threw up his hands, apologizzed, and then wished that I have a "good day."
Any suggestions?

The Account Holder is no longer able to log into apple (regardless of web-based or device based attempts). The membership will expire soon without access to the account holder.
Both workflows "iforgot.apple.com" and "iforgot.apple.com/unlock" did not lead to an answer email within several days. I tried several times.
So we are almost out of store without any option. Hotline did not show other options.
Any ideas?
Beginning yesterday and still continuing when I go to log into my developer account (both iOS and OS X) I am presented with a new Terms and Agreement page. The agreement is not displayed, I am unable to download the PDF and when I check the Agree box then Submit it returns me to the same page. I am unable to contact support as all of the links are invalid or I get kept being sent back tot eh Terms & Agreement page. How do I get out of this black hole?
My app which requires a crucial update, I have over 40 user emails saying the app is broken after the new macOS update, I patched the issue and submitted to appstore.
it's been a week all I see is, app "In Review" I tried submitting expedited review and I just get 502 error.
I am very close to migrating off App Store and distributing it on my own.
Hello everyone,
I've encountered an issue with export compliance on App Store Connect that I haven't seen before.
In my Info.plist, I have always set the ITSAppUsesNonExemptEncryption key (formerly App Uses Non-Exempt Encryption) to NO. In the past, this was sufficient to bypass the export compliance questions when submitting a build.
However, with my most recent submission, I am now being prompted to answer these questions. Nothing has changed in my app's encryption usage.
Has there been a recent change in policy or a system-wide issue that would cause this change in behavior? Is anyone else experiencing this?
Thank you for your help.

Lost All Developer Permissions After App Notarization, No Notice, No Support — Desperately Need Help
Hi Apple Developer Support Team and Community,
We are the developer of a VPN app with over 100,000 users.
Recently, after submitting a macOS app for notarization, we suddenly lost all developer privileges.
All our Developer Certificates were revoked without any notification.
However, our app is still live on the App Store and available for download and purchase.
The problem is: since all certificates were revoked, we are now completely unable to push any updates.
In the Developer Portal, it shows:
“Your Apple Account is already associated with the Account Holder of a membership.”
But clearly, in App Store Connect, I am listed as the Account Holder.
I have called Apple Developer Support multiple times.
Every advisor I spoke with told me: “You are not the Account Holder.”
Excuse me? If I am not the Account Holder, then who is??
I have also submitted nearly 1,000 support tickets via email — no reply at all.
This is devastating to our business, and no one is giving me any clear explanation of:
• What exactly happened?
• What did we do wrong?
• Why were all certificates revoked without any warning?
• Why are we trapped in this limbo where the system thinks we have a membership but we have no permissions?
Can someone — anyone — from Apple please seriously look into this case and tell me what is going on?
We are stuck, losing users’ trust, and completely helpless right now.
Please, this needs urgent escalation.
Thank you.

Hey, Everyone.
I am new to Apple Developer and want to enroll in the program to publish my app in the AppStore.
I logged into my personal Apple account on the developer app and tried to enroll but I got the error message: "There may be an issue with your account that needs to be resolved before you can continue. Please contact support."
I click on the contact support button and I explain the situation.
The developer support team gets back to me telling me that I need to turn on "twofactor authentication" I've had this on the entire time, but I check settings and remove it and turn it back on.
After this I tried enrolling again but got the same error message. I've contacted support again explaining the situation but I've not gotten a response yet.
My question is, Has anyone else encountered this problem? and if so, How did you solve it?
Thanks in advance,
Lars A
Hi, i recently purchase a developer account on apple 4 days ago and i haven't got any reply back from then and i'm confused i already made a purchase yet in my account they're still requiring me to pay again?
Hi, I'm from India and payment has been deducted for the membership and I have received an email confirming my subscription of the program but I still cannot access my enrolment dashboard. It says "You'll receive an email soon" in my Apple Developer app under "Enrol" and it says Pending on my Apple Account on web. I don't understand why such as a small task is such a problematic thing for Apple. Need help understanding what's going on.
I'm trying to create an app that authenticates to Apple Music using MusicKit but whenever I try to build my profile through eas, I am getting this error:
Provisioning profile doesn't include the com.apple.developer.music-kit entitlement.
However, my provisioning profile does have MusicKit enabled.
I am creating new Apple ID, I am creating new Apple ID, I am able to verify the email, but when I get to mobile otp verification, I just keep seeing this error
I am really frustrated, I tried with multiple pc and browser thinking that maybe my IP is blocked,
I want to deploy app on App Store but not able to create basic apple account
this is really making me go mad!

Why do I can not apply an Apple developer account successfully. I aways meet the error that says 'We are unable to process your request'.
Wow, you are unable to process my request, why? Are you such a coward? You won’t even let me become a developer.
I can't understand why you prevent me from becoming a developer, please give me explain as soon as possible.

Looking for advice: I've been automatically rejected from Apple's Developer Program without an explanation.
Hi everyone,
It seems I’ve hit a brick wall, so I’m reaching out to see if anyone here has experienced something similar to this or has any advice or resources to share.
I recently attempted to enroll in the Apple Developer Program, but my application was immediately denied after submission. Within one second of submitting my driver’s license, the app stated that Apple was unable to verify my identity and that I needed to reach out to Developer Support for further assistance.
When I first contacted Developer Support for clarification, the representative was happy to help. After being taken off hold, she said she couldn't offer any more information, but assured me that I'd later receive an email with further details related to my account and next steps. However, instead of steps to resolve the issue, I received a denial email repeating the same message about being unable to verify my identity (screenshot attached).
I’ve since spoken to multiple representatives and supervisors, and, while everyone was initially polite and understanding, it changed after I was taken off hold.
Here’s what I’ve been told:
The decision is final, and there is no possibility of escalation or appeal.
The supervisors themselves, despite being the final decision makers, have no access to the specific reason for applicants’ denial and, thus, could not provide any additional details.
I was also invited to join Apple's “Xcode program,” which I found out just means they’ll allow me to buy Xcode from the app store and use it without a developer account (I already do that).
Every time a support representative reread the sentence about being “unable to verify [my] identity,” I responded by offering to provide additional forms of identification. However, that offer was never addressed.
The last senior advisor I spoke with stated to me over the phone that:
She was the highest authority on the matter.
There was absolutely no way to escalate the issue further; it was 100% impossible.
She physically did not have access to the reason for my denial.
Neither she nor anyone else at Apple was able to offer further assistance.
I asked this senior advisor to send me an email with the above points in writing, which she said she would do. However, the email I received was a virtual copy-paste of the email from the first support representative, stating the same few sentences verbatim.
This has left me deeply confused, especially as no specific reason for denial has been shared, and since I was explicitly denied any opportunity to address (or even get information on) potential issues.
I’d like to ask this community:
Has anyone else experienced this sort of immediate rejection and/or a refusal to disclose the reason for that rejection?
Are there specific guidelines or policies I may have unknowingly violated that I should review? If so, what could be the reason why they’re being withheld from me?
Are there any resources or alternative channels I can explore to resolve this issue?
I’m so thoroughly confused, and I’m genuinely at a loss with how to move forward. I appreciate any insight or guidance from this community.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read!
Best regards,
David
I get this error: Apple 403 detected - Access forbidden.
This request is forbidden for security reasons - You currently don't have access to this membership resource. Contact your team's Account Holder, [redacted], or an Admin. But I have access to the membership resource as a developer, and my account is not blocked. What is the reason?

Im unable to enroll on developer program shows unable to continue do we have to add funds beofre making an purchase.
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to enroll in the Apple Developer Program, but every time I scan my ID, I get this error:
“Unable to Send Information – Your information could not be sent due to a connection error.”
I’ve tried different networks, devices, and browsers. I also asked several friends—both inside and outside the country—to try, and they all faced the same issue.
I contacted Apple Developer Support, but the experience was frustrating:
• Long wait times on the phone
• No real solutions beyond basic troubleshooting
• No explanation for the issue—just “Everything looks fine on our end.”
This seems like a widespread issue. Has anyone found a fix? Also, Apple really needs to improve their Developer Support.

Dear Apple Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am reaching out to seek clarification regarding the behavior and limitations of silent push notifications on iOS devices. Specifically, I would like to understand the following:
Frequency: Is there a defined frequency limit for how often silent push notifications can be triggered? If so, what is the recommended or maximum frequency for sending silent push notifications to avoid potential issues?
Notification Limit: Is there a specific limit on the number of silent push notifications that can be sent to a device within a given time frame? If there are any constraints or best practices, could you please provide guidance?
Understanding these details will help ensure optimal implementation and avoid potential disruptions for users.
I appreciate your time and assistance. Looking forward to your response.
Best regards,
Akhil
