We are encountering a persistent code signing error with in-app purchase capabilities in our iOS app. Despite having the com.apple.developer.in-app-purchase entitlement properly configured in the app's entitlements file and the In-App Purchase capability enabled in both Xcode and the App ID configuration in the Apple Developer Portal, we continue to receive the error: "The provisioning profile 'iOS Team Provisioning Profile: does not include the com.apple.developer.in-app-purchase entitlement." We have attempted multiple solutions including:
Regenerating provisioning profiles
Cleaning and rebuilding the project
Switching between automatic and manual signing
Removing and re-adding the in-app purchase capability
Verifying all entitlements and capabilities configurations
The error persists despite the entitlement being correctly set in the entitlements file and the capability being enabled in the App ID. This appears to be an issue with how the provisioning profile is being generated or how the entitlement is being recognized by Xcode's code signing system.

Hi All,
I'll start by saying i am complete beginner when it comes to coding/ developing. So please be easy on me, im also using AI tools to help and learn so apologies if what im saying doesnt make sense.
The error im getting is
/Services/SupabaseManager.swift:47:29 Cannot find 'GlobalOptions' in scope
From AI tells me 'GlobalOptions' is defined a types.swift file in the supabase package
public struct GlobalOptions: Sendable {
/// Optional headers for initializing the client, it will be passed down to all sub-clients.
public let headers: [String: String]
/// A session to use for making requests, defaults to `URLSession.shared`.
public let session: URLSession
/// The logger to use across all Supabase sub-packages.
public let logger: (any SupabaseLogger)?
public init(
headers: [String: String] = [:],
session: URLSession = .shared,
logger: (any SupabaseLogger)? = nil
) {
self.headers = headers
self.session = session
self.logger = logger
}
}
From what i can see i have added the supabase package successfully, following this guide - https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode/adding-package-dependencies-to-your-app
Here are some screenshots of my xcode to show the added package.

What I am trying to do is very simple.
Environment description:
macOS Catalina version 10.15.7 iOS Simulator version 12.3 Target device iPhone 11 (iOS 13.2.2)
Open Safari > go to website > mictests.com
Result: "Could not find any media devices. It is very likely that your browser does not allow access to these devices."
The Simulator does have access to the microphone. I can use Siri just fine. Only Safari cannot access the mic. I'm really stuck here, any ideas are welcome.
Within Xcode's settings location section is a drop down menu to switch between setting the derived data location to be default, relative or custom.
However its a global setting.
I work on more than one project simultaneously, and for one of them I want the location set to relative, but default for all the others.
Is there any way of achieving that?
Hello all:)
I am using Xcode 16.2, react native 0.76, simulator -> iPhone 15(17.0), mac M1 Sequoia 15.2.
Many "could not build module" errors appear while building files inside iPhoneSimulator18.2.sdk.
The think is that I don't even use this simulator and if I try to delete it the Xcode hides all other simulator options and requires 18.2 to download..
Of course I already tried to clean and delete and reinstall everything but nothing works..
Any help is welcome:)
Thanks!
The code in my app is split into frameworks that I can use both from my main app and its app extensions. In order to use the frameworks inside the app extension, I need to build them with the Xcode build setting Require Only App-Extension-Safe API set to Yes.
When I do that, debugging framework code in my main app no longer works properly. I can set a breakpoint, but any attempt to print a value via p or po will give a set of errors like the following:
error: module file /Users/.../Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/...-daqfgouagvlkudfebrmzrurogmld/Build/Intermediates.noindex/SwiftExplicitPrecompiledModules/_errno-B8I5WSZMM09RXHYLYEWSC1BLE.pcm cannot be loaded due to a configuration mismatch with the current compilation
error: Objective-C App Extension was enabled in PCH file but is currently disabled
How do I fix this?
I'm experiencing an issue with Xcode 16 where code completion suggestions are not appearing while typing. I tried deleting UserDataDrive and restarting Xcode, but it didn't help. My machine has multiple user accounts, and we all use the same Xcode installation.
How can I fix this?
I'm trying to load a Safari Extension onto my physical iPhone 15 running iOS 18.4 but am seeing the following message: "iOS 18.4 is not installed."
When I click the Get button I see that the download has failed with the following error message. I tried updating my laptop to Sequoia and I also deleted and re-installed Xcode but that didn't fix it. Any thoughts?

I added an AppIntent and Shortcut to an app. I have different targets all producing slightly different versions of the app (for testing purposes) but even though the files with the intents and shortcuts are included on all targets, when I run the app from one of the other targets the shortcuts stop working and appearing on the Shortcuts app.
Only the version without parameters appears and when run produces an error: “The action (name) could not run because an internal error occurred”
Is there anything I’m missing?
if I duplicate the target where they run ok, everything is fine (and I might just recreate all the targets)
thanks!

I am developing a game that has 3 team members.
I can manually start up 3 simulators and run the game for developing/testing but seem like there should be a simple way to click build/run and have it launch on all three automatically.
Does anyone know how to do this or if its even possible without writing some scripts?

I’ve been running into an annoying issue for a while now and wondering if anyone else can confirm or suggest a fix.
When Xcode hits a breakpoint (i.e., the app is paused), I often need to copy some text from the source code using cmd+C — for example, to paste into the debugger and inspect a variable or object. However, most of the time, the copy operation fails and nothing ends up on the clipboard. I have to repeat the copy action multiple times before it works.
This doesn’t happen 100% of the time, but it’s frequent — maybe around 7 out of 10 attempts fail. I’ve been noticing this behavior since around Xcode 15.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a known workaround or fix?

I want to statically link xcframework as binaryTarget in Swift Package, but it is copied into the product as dynamic when the Xcode build. How to use xcframework in SwiftPackage and statically link it into iOS product?
The Package.swift content and the project are:
The WebP.xcframework is static:
The Xcode Build Product's WebP.framework is dynamic:
I am trying to add complication feature to my watchOS app. I need to add some keys to the Info.plist.
Project Navigator - no Info.plist file (as expected)
Target watchOS > Build Settings > Info.plist values.
I am unable to add a value. Hovering over a row does NOT show small '+' or '-' icons.
How do I edit the Info.plist?
When renaming a variable in the active scheme, it's not renamed for the non active ones.
As a result when you have code that operates in both schemes (with #if os() conditions) a compile time error is introduced.
Is this an Xcode bug or expected behaviour?
Hi, I'm developing an app and after I change the app icon it's appear this error. Why?
Previously I noticed, and it still does, that in the app settings it does not keep the LauncScreen.storyboard. In the drop-down menu it appears but as soon as I change screen it loses it.
I don't know what to do....
Thanks!
Upon updating to Xcode 16.3, my StoreKit2 unit testing suite encountered a malfunction.
let result = await product.purchase()
The code snippet above simply halts execution, preventing the task from progressing. In a regular environment, everything appear to function correctly.
Use a project hosted by a filesystem/local Git repository.
Make changes to any file in the project.
Switch to the "Source Control" Navigator, and the "Changes" sub-navigator within that.
Select "Uncommitted Changes", or any file below that.
Verify that your changes appear in the source change browser/editor on the right.
Click the "Stage All" button.
Absolutely nothing happens, 90% of the time.
Go back to the Changes navigator, right-click on an item there and select the "Stage Changes in..." popup menu item. It works, every time.
I haven't found any pattern to the 10% of the time the "Stage All" button actually works, wrt what changes are selected in the navigator, whether I've already typed a commit message, etc..
I happen to be using Xcode 16.0 on two Macs: a Mac Studio running MacOS 14.6.1, and a 2019 MacBook Pro running MacOS 14.7.1. Both exhibit the same symptoms.

I am working on an iOS app using Flutter that tracks outgoing calls using CallKit. The call tracking functionality works perfectly in Debug mode but does not work when the app is published to TestFlight.
I have already added Background Modes (voip, audio, processing, fetch) in Info.plist. I have added CallKit.framework in Xcode under Link Binary With Libraries (set to Optional).

And below is the file are AppDelegate.swift, call_tracking_mixin.dart, & main_call.dart file for full knowledge
We're building an SDK (let's call it MyFramework) which is distributed as an .xcframework for developers to integrate it into their own apps.
Recently, we've added tvOS support by adding it as a supported destination for the SDK. Essentially, the SDK became a cross-platform framework and easy to be adopted in both iOS and tvOS apps.
The .xcframework is generated fine, all builds correctly. We've tested the SDK integrated in test apps. We've also submitted an iOS archive app to the AppStore connect, just to make sure all is well with the AppStore submission.
However, when I tried submitting a tvOS archive app (that integrates the same SDK) to the AppStore connect, the build was marked as invalid binary and we've got the following error message:
ITMS-90562: Invalid Bundle - One of the nested bundles is built for a platform which is different from the main bundle platform. Please make sure that all bundles have correct platform specification.
First, I thought that any of the modules of the framework was not correctly configured for tvOS but that was not the case. Everything compiles ok and it runs in debug as expected.
It only fails when trying to submit the tvOS app that integrates the SDK.
After a lot of investigating, we realised that the reason for the AppStore submission error is because we codesign the framework. We use codesign to distribute it as cryptographically signed xcframework.
codesign --timestamp -v --sign "Apple Distribution: Company (xxxxxxxxxx)" "MyFramework.xcframework"
As soon as we remove the above line from our CI/CD pipeline that generates the xcframework, and submit a tvOS archive app that integrates the unsigned framework, the AppStore submission error goes away and the TestFlight build can be tested.
I've also tried to just strip the _CodeSignature folder from the .xcframework package but it still fails. So the only solution currently is to not codesign the xcframework to be able to upload tvOS archive apps that integrate the SDK to the AppStore connect.
However, we're still puzzled as to why only the tvOS archive app gets the invalid binary error when it integrates a signed SDK. I feel like the error message is quite misleading if we have to stop signing the SDK xcframework for it to be accepted during the AppStore submission.
Anyone has any idea? Or has anyone encountered a similar issue?
Thanks!
