Xcode unable to find custom info.plist file
Hello, New to swift ui and xcode. I am building a mobil app that will need bluetooth capabilities. When I make my custom info.plist file and set "Generate info.plist file" to No, it states it cannot find my file. Then when I set that to "Yes" it gives me an error stating that there are multiple versions of the file. In my editor I cant seem to set a path to it either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. this is the result when the the section is set to No Cannot code sign because the target does not have an Info.plist file and one is not being generated automatically. Apply an Info.plist file to the target using the INFOPLIST_FILE build setting or generate one automatically by setting the GENERATE_INFOPLIST_FILE build setting to YES (recommended). this is when its set to yes: Multiple commands produce '/Users/thatcherdeyoework/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/SwiftUI-weather-etzagqgbgkjotzenbomwvkhjfhzt/Build/Products/Debug-iphoneos/SwiftUI-weather.app/Info.plist'

How are the "Mine" branches listed during a manual start determined?
Issue with "Mine" Branch Not Displaying After Switching GitHub Accounts in XcodeCloud I have been using XcodeCloud for a while. Recently, in one of my projects, I switched from using my personal GitHub account to a separate GitHub account for work purposes. Since then, when I manually start a workflow, nothing is displayed under the "Mine" section on the branch selection screen. I suspect that Xcode is attempting to list branches from the previously used account, causing branches from my new account not to appear. Where are these old account settings stored, and how can I reset them? For reference: In Xcode's Accounts settings, only the new GitHub account is present—the old account is no longer listed. The git user in the local repository has also been updated to the new one. Any assistance on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Change recording mode when using xctrace
Hey, In the UI of the Instruments app, I can change the recording mode to immediate. Is that possible when using xctrace? It seems to use deferred as a default. I've tried to create a template, set the recording mode to immediate, and use that template for recording. However, that doesn't seem to work. Xcode version 14.2 crashes as soon as opened in mac os 15.0.1
I have downloaded xcode version 14.2 from apple official archive. I ran xcode using these steps: Right click -> Show Package content Go to folder Contents -> Macos -> Xcode Run the xcode terminal app After this as soon as I try to open a project, xcode crashes. How do i run xcode of lower version as that specific version is required, I don't want to downgrade my macos as it will result in clearing my data or I have to transfer data. Please help me with this issue.

Metal GPU capture
I'm trying to get performance information in a Metal cpp program. I'm using Xcode 14.2. In the Counters tab, only the inscription No Data appears. What could be the problem, what am I doing wrong? The libraries Metal, MetalKit, AppKit are connected. The code is taken from the Apple website from the Learn Metal with C++ section.

Can't compile asset catalog when including iMessage App Icon asset
I'm trying to add an iMessage extension to my app, and upon adding the iMessage App Icon set, I ran into an issue with one specific icon size: 1024x768px, aka 1x 1024x768pt. When I remove this one icon from the icon set, it compiles and runs fine, however I can't push it to the App Store as I get the error: "Asset validation failed. Missing Image Asset. Your app is missing the Large App Icon asset 'AppIcon' in 'Payload/Runner.app/PlugIns/MessagesExtension.appex'." I'm assuming this refers to 1024x768px, as this size placeholder appears upon adding a New Messages Extension Icon to my assets folder, and 1024x1024 is already included and compiles fine with it. However, when I add the 1024x768 icon, and try to run the app, I get the error: "Command CompileAssetCatalog failed with a nonzero exit code" The app icon's filename is correct, it is exactly 1024x768 px, and my contents.json correctly includes : { "filename" : "AppIcon_1024x768.png", "idiom" : "ios-marketing", "platform" : "ios", "scale" : "1x", "size" : "1024x768" } as is the same format for all of my other icons that work. Why am I running into this issue upon inclusion of this one required size? How do I fix it?

Updating EditButton
I am trying to update the EditButton after deleting rows in a List, but its title doesn't change. I have sent an update event via a publisher that applies the mode change based on the number of items remaining in the list. Here's the update event handler: .onReceive(updateViewPublisher, perform: { _ in self.editMode?.wrappedValue = textFileData.textFiles.count == 0 ? .inactive : .active update += 1 })``` The edit mode is changed to inactive when the list is empty, but the button continues to display 'done'. If I adda new list item it remains set to 'done' and the delete control is displayed against the new item. I have seen loads of posts about this on various sites, but no solutions. I am trying this on Xcode 16.2 and IOS 18.2. If someone from Apple sees this, a reply would be most welcome.

Unable to Register Apple Developer Account After 48 Hours – Order Number LPK7A8286X
Hello everyone, I’m having trouble registering for an Apple Developer account. I’ve already added my credit card and completed all the required payment steps, but it’s been more than 48 hours and my account still hasn’t been activated. Order Number LPK7A8286X Waiting Period Over 48 hours since the payment I’ve double-checked my credit card and payment details, and everything seems valid. However, I haven’t received any confirmation or notification from Apple yet. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue and found a quick solution? I really need to get started on my project soon. I’d greatly appreciate any advice on how to expedite the process or how best to contact Apple Support.

Apple Pay bricht mit einem "AbortError" ab, wenn sich der Dialog für den Fingeprint-Sensor öffnet.
Wie finde ich die Ursache für den "AbortError" von Apple heraus, der nur in der Produktivumgebung auftritt. In der Testumgebung funktionert Apple Pay fehlerfrei. Es geht um eine Webintegration von Apple Pay mit dem apple pay SDK eine Version vor 1.2.0. Der Fehler tritt auf, wenn ich vom PaymentRequest object die Methode show() aufrufe. Es öffnet sich der Apple Pay Dilaog mit dem Fingerprint-Icon, doch nach einer Sekunde kommt direkt ein Ausrufzeichen und der Apple Dialog schließt sich wieder. Ich weiß, dass unsere Integration zu Apple Pay in der Produktivumgebung bei mehreren Kunden funktionerte. Das aktuelle Problem ist, dass die Fehlermeldung von Apple namens "AbortError" keinen Hinweis auf die Ursache liefert. Das ist startk verbesserungswürdig. Ein Betroffener Kunde ist z.B. der Kunde mit der Merchant ID ...(ist es sicher in diesem Forum eine merchantID zu posten?) Hier kann ich das Problem "AbortError" mit meine iPhone 16.7.8 jederzeit reproduzieren. Wo finde ich Support für Apple Pay?

Scipy problems with OpenBLAS and Accelerate
I'm using M1pro and have successfully installed Numpy with Accelerate following, and it really speedup my programs. I also ran np.test() to check the correctness and every test passed. However, I can't install Scipy with Accelerate, since the official document said Accelerate has a LAPACK of too old version. I can't even find a scipy that can pass scipy.test(). I tried the codes below: conda install numpy 'libblas=*=*accelerate' conda install scipy np.test() as fails, sp.test() can't even finish conda install numpy 'libblas=*=*openblas' conda install scipy Both np.test() and sp.test() can finish, but with many failures. I believe the bugs are due to Conda. pip install --no-binary :all: --no-use-pep517 numpy pip install scipy np.test() has no failure and went fast, sp.test() uses OpenBLAS and has 3 failures. This is the best version I have found. So my question is: can we find a reliable version of scipy on M1? Considering the popularity of scipy, I think it's not a high-living expectation. And a question for Apple: is there really a plan to upgrade the LAPACK in Accelerate?
