in App purchase
We are a group of 10 friends using the same device and Apple ID, but each of us has a different account within the same app. We want to purchase the same auto-renewable monthly subscription plan, each using our own app credentials. The issue: after the first person subscribes, the next user (with a different in-app account) is unable to buy the same plan—it shows "already subscribed" and only allows access after the next billing cycle. We don’t mind the auto-renewal being charged each month by a different person. We just want each app account to have access to the same package independently, for 1 month each. How can we achieve this without changing the Apple ID or device?

Unable to Start macOS VM via Virtualization API in a Sandboxed Launchd Service
I’m encountering an issue when trying to start a macOS VM using Apple’s Virtualization framework in a sandboxed environment. When I create a standalone Xcode project, the VM launches successfully. However, when I integrate the same code into my existing project—where the VM is launched by a service started via launchd and running in a sandbox—it fails with the following error: Internal Virtualization Error: Failed to issue USB HCI sandbox extension To resolve this, I tried adding the com.apple.security.device.usb entitlement. But after doing that, the app started crashing with the following trace : Application Specific Signatures: SYSCALL_SET_USERLAND_PROFILE Thread 0 Crashed:: Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread 0 libsystem_secinit.dylib 0x19a7141bc _libsecinit_appsandbox.cold.9 + 84 1 libsystem_secinit.dylib 0x19a713324 _libsecinit_appsandbox + 2080 2 libsystem_trace.dylib 0x18c2326cc _os_activity_initiate_impl + 64 3 libsystem_secinit.dylib 0x19a712ab0 _libsecinit_initializer + 80 4 libSystem.B.dylib 0x19a72a32c libSystem_initializer + 280 5 dyld 0x18c162efc invocation function for block in dyld4::Loader::findAndRunAllInitializers(dyld4::RuntimeState&) const + 444 6 dyld 0x18c19f864 invocation function for block in dyld3::MachOAnalyzer::forEachInitializer(Diagnostics&, dyld3::MachOAnalyzer::VMAddrConverter const&, void (unsigned int) block_pointer, void const*) const + 324 7 dyld 0x18c1bf58c invocation function for block in mach_o::Header::forEachSection(void (mach_o::Header::SectionInfo const&, bool&) block_pointer) const + 240 8 dyld 0x18c1bc318 mach_o::Header::forEachLoadCommand(void (load_command const*, bool&) block_pointer) const + 208 9 dyld 0x18c1bda58 mach_o::Header::forEachSection(void (mach_o::Header::SectionInfo const&, bool&) block_pointer) const + 124 10 dyld 0x18c19f334 dyld3::MachOAnalyzer::forEachInitializer(Diagnostics&, dyld3::MachOAnalyzer::VMAddrConverter const&, void (unsigned int) block_pointer, void const*) const + 516 11 dyld 0x18c162cb4 dyld4::Loader::findAndRunAllInitializers(dyld4::RuntimeState&) const + 176 12 dyld 0x18c16e530 dyld4::PrebuiltLoader::runInitializers(dyld4::RuntimeState&) const + 44 13 dyld 0x18c1848b0 dyld4::APIs::runAllInitializersForMain() + 88 14 dyld 0x18c147e00 dyld4::prepare(dyld4::APIs&, mach_o::Header const*) + 3092 15 dyld 0x18c1471d8 dyld4::start(dyld4::KernelArgs*, void*, void*)::$_0::operator()() const + 236 16 dyld 0x18c146b4c start + 6000 I suspect this might be due to the provisioning profile, which doesn’t seem to include the required entitlement. However, I haven’t found a way to explicitly add this entitlement to the provisioning profile. My questions are: How can I add com.apple.security.device.usb to the provisioning profile? Is there a way to confirm that adding this entitlement would resolve the issue? Are there recommended steps to debug and test Virtualization framework usage in a sandboxed environment (especially when launched as a service)? I also tried disabling SIP and AMFI, but the crash still occurs. Is there a better way to work around or test this in development? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

macOS .chm viewer
For the Linux version of my application which is written in C++ using Qt, I display the CHM format help files with this code: QString helpFile{ QCoreApplication::applicationDirPath() + "/Help/" + tr("DeepSkyStacker Help.chm","IDS_HELPFILE") }; QString program{ "kchmviewer" }; QStringList arguments{ "-token", "com.github.deepskystacker", helpFile }; helpProcess->startDetached(program, arguments); (helpProcess is a pointer to a QProcess object) The -token com.github.deepskystackerpart of that ensures that only a single instance of the viewer is used for any code that uses that invocation. Are there any chm file viewers for macOS that are capable of that sort of trick? The ones I've found on the App Store give minimal information and appear to be very simple minded tools that are not not intended for integration into an application as above. I know that MacPorts offers ports of kchmviewer but I'd prefer not to use either that or HomeBrew ... David

Follow-up on Company Enrollment – Case ID: 102578249178
Hi, While I understand that some enrollment reviews may take time, it has now been nearly a month since we submitted our company enrollment on April 11, and unfortunately, we still have no concrete updates or next steps. As a small business, this extended delay is significantly affecting our operations. We are unable to proceed with our product launch, engage with partners, or move forward with development work. Each passing day adds to the financial and operational pressure we’re facing. To be completely transparent, we honestly don’t believe there is a large set of documents or verifications that would justify such a long review. Our company’s D-U-N-S information has been provided and contains clear, publicly verifiable details about our registration and address. Beyond that, there is no additional documentation that should require extended evaluation. From our research, we’ve learned that some enrollments may get stuck in the review pipeline indefinitely unless manually escalated — and some companies only managed to resolve the issue after getting in touch with senior contacts or executives. We kindly ask — and sincerely hope — that instead of a standard response confirming the enrollment is “under review,” we can receive a more concrete update: what stage it is truly at, whether any verification is pending, and whether manual intervention is required. On-demand resource exporting?
I'm a newbie to on-demand resources and I feel like I'm missing something very obvious. I've successfully tagged and set up ODR in my Xcode project, but now I want to upload the assets to my own server so I can retrieve them from within the app, and I can't figure out how to export the files I need. I'm following the ODR Guide and I'm stuck at Step #4, after I've selected my archive in the Archives window it says to "Click the Export button", but this is what I see: As shown in the screenshot, there is no export button visible. I have tried different approaches, including distributing to appstore connect, and doing a local development release. The best I've been able to do is find a .assetpack folder inside the archive package through the finder, but uploading that, or the asset.car inside it, just gives me a "cannot parse response" error from the ODR loading code. I've verified I uploaded those to the correct URL. Can anyone walk me through how to save out the file(s) I need, in a form I can just upload to my server? Thanks, Pete

Intelligence Features not available in Xcode 26 beta 1
At the Platform State of the Union, Apple demoed clicking a ✨ button in the Xcode toolbar to use Apple Intelligence in Xcode. I don't see that button in Xcode Version 26.0 beta (17A5241e). Am I missing it? It's supposed to be in the upper-left corner, right? Do I need to turn it on or something? I'm on macOS 15.5 Sequoia, on a 16-inch, 2021 MacBook Pro

-Xlinker -reproducible flag breaks debug symbols for static library which object files has same name
Hi! For example i have library with structure like ModuleA/test.cpp, ModuleB/test.cpp, then i build it like: #Building library clang++ -c ModuleA/test.cpp -o ModuleA/test.o clang++ -c ModuleB/test.cpp -o ModuleB/test.o libtool -o module.a ModuleA/test.o ModuleB/test.o #Now reproducing build steps from Xcode #Compiling... clang++ -c main.cpp -o main.o #Linking... clang++ -Xlinker -reproducible -o main main.o module.a Now if we launch lldb main, we cant set breakpoint in file ModuleB/test.cpp, only in ModuleA/test.cpp, if link without -Xlinker -reproducible, both breakpoints working as expected. Also dsymutil completely delete symbols for "duplicate" library if link with reproducible flag. It's just example, in real static library i can't change behavior of building process, and can't change names of producing object files. Xcode always set -Xlinker -reproducible flag, and i don't know how to disable it, and my debugging process partially broken. ENV: macos: 15.4.1 Xcode: 16.2

Org Developer Account Stuck in "Your enrollment is being processed"
I applied for an Apple Developer Organization account more than two weeks ago, but I have not received any further information regarding the registration process. Apple previously requested some supporting documents, which I submitted as instructed. I have also followed up, but have yet to receive a response. Has anyone experienced a similar situation? If so, what steps did you take to resolve it?

MDM Nginx Proxy
I'm trying to make my own MDM server and I'm having trouble allowing nginx to proxy the connection. The web app I'm making can accept http requests so I require nginx. I'm using a certificate from letsencrypt. Every time I try to enroll a phone it instantly rejects at nginx. I have tried multiple cipher options in nginx. I found the following link and my cert supports all except the DHE ones but they say you only need 1. Is there any way of automating Apple Pay certificate generation in a CI/CD pipeline?
Hi everyone! I’m trying to automate the Apple Pay setup in a CI/CD pipeline for a preproduction environment. Right now, we are generating manually the Apple Pay certificates for both the root domain and merchant ID through the Apple Developer Portal, then manually upload them to our preproduction servers. My idea is to be able to automate this process for this environment. I’ve been digging through docs and forums but haven’t found any way to generate or renew these certificates automatically via an API or any other method. Does anyone know if Apple offers something like this? Or if not, what’s the best way to handle this in an automated workflow? I've been thinking about a web driver, but I'm not a big fan of this kind of solution. Thanks a lot for any ideas or advice!

Enrollment Stuck Since April 28 — No Updates Despite Full Document Submission (Estonian Company)
We applied for the Apple Developer Program on April 28, and our enrollment has been stuck in review since then — over three weeks now. We have already submitted all required documents, including: Turkish National ID and Passport Estonian e-Residency Card Company registration documents from the Estonian e-Business Register D-U-N-S number VAT and Registry information Detailed explanations as a sole founder and legal representative Enrollment Case number is 102586593909 We even had a follow-up phone call with Apple Developer Support (Case ID: 102589592062) and were told the submitted documents should be sufficient. I also followed all upload instructions and confirmed that the files were delivered successfully. Despite all this, we haven’t received any updates, timelines, or specific feedback on what’s missing — if anything at all. ✅ Meanwhile, we’ve completed similar business verification processes with Google, Meta, and Stripe within 48 hours. We’re trying to launch our app under an officially registered business (Mobisense OÜ), and this delay is affecting our go-to-market timeline and business operations. 🔹 Has anyone else experienced this kind of delay recently? 🔹 Is there a reliable way to escalate or request an actual review update? Apple, please review this case and help move the process forward. Thank you.

[Help] Xcode device debugging of iOS 18.4 / 18.5 is very slow, and it is suspected to be stuck in the stage of loading dynamic libraries in debugserver
Environment Xcode version: Xcode 16.0 iOS device system version: iOS 18.4 / 18.5 Problem description When debugging iOS 18.4/18.5 on a real device, the App starts very slowly after clicking Run, usually taking 2-3 minutes, which is much slower than iOS 18.3. It manifests as Xcode staying in the Launch stage for a long time, and the application stuck in the opening screen interface. Start the APP first, then attach the process, and this problem will not exist Location process Use lldb to enable logs log enable gdb-remote packets After observing the logs, it was found that: The jam mainly occurs when processing two data packets: jGetLoadedDynamicLibrariesInfos and qProcessInfo These two commands involve dynamic library loading information and process meta information, and the response time is much higher than the normal level, far exceeding other gdb-remote instructions Use Instruments / Profiler to analyze: The CPU peak of the real machine debugserver is concentrated in the dynamic library information loading process of _dyld_process_info_create Is there a way to deploy a modified debugserver on the real machine to further locate the problem How to enable and view the debugsever log to further locate the problem

Trying to add new version of App in App Store Connect (need the + sign!)

Thank you.

Error recording of CPU Profiler in CLI: [Error] Failed to start the recording: Failed to force all hardware CPU counters: 13.
Context I created a short script to CPU profile a program from the command line. I am able to record via the Instruments app, but when I try from the command line I get the following error shown below. This example is just profiling the grep command. Error: % cpu_profile /usr/bin/grep \ --recursive "Brendan Gregg" \ "$(xcode-select --print-path)/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk" Profiling /usr/bin/grep into /tmp/cpu_profile_grep.trace Starting recording with the CPU Profiler template. Launching process: grep. Ctrl-C to stop the recording Run issues were detected (trace is still ready to be viewed): * [Error] Failed to start the recording: Failed to force all hardware CPU counters: 13. Setting LSApplicationCategoryType
Is this a valid thing to include in the Info.plist file? If so is a category of public.app-category.astronomyvalid? I couldn't find that, but the categories I did find seemed very limited.
