409 ENTITY_ERROR.RELATIONSHIP.INVALID — Cannot attach build or create version, affecting 2 separate accounts for 1 week
I am unable to submit any app for review. Every attempt to add a build to an App Store version results in a 409 error, both through the App Store Connect website and directly through the App Store Connect REST API. Affected accounts: Account 1: My personal Apple Developer account Account 2: A company-owned Apple Developer account where I have Admin access Both accounts are completely separate — different legal entities, different enrollments — but exhibit the exact same behavior simultaneously. API errors observed When calling PATCH /v1/appStoreVersions/{id}/relationships/build: 409 ENTITY_ERROR.RELATIONSHIP.INVALID "The specified pre-release build could not be added." When calling POST /v1/appStoreVersions to create a new version: 409 ENTITY_ERROR.RELATIONSHIP.INVALID "You cannot create a new version of the App in the current state." What I have verified All builds are processingState: VALID and not expired usesNonExemptEncryption: false is set on all builds No build is already attached to another version Build version string matches the App Store version (1.1.0) App bundle ID matches the build bundle ID Localization, review contact details, and keywords are all filled in Banking info in Agreements, Tax, and Banking was recently updated on both accounts Issue persists on both the website and via the REST API, ruling out a browser/cache issue Question Has anyone seen 409 errors affecting two completely separate developer accounts simultaneously? Could there be a platform-level issue with App Store Connect that is not reflected on the System Status page? I opened a support ticket 1 week ago but I only got a reply today and it's just asking for more details.

CarPlay Simulator (from Additional tools) stuck on "Connecting to phone" since March 4th
We're experiencing an issue where the CarPlay Simulator (from Apple Developer Additional Tools) stopped connecting to our iPhones as of March 4th, 2025. The simulator gets stuck indefinitely on "Connecting to phone" and never completes the pairing. Environment App: Oracle Field Service iOS app (with CarPlay support) Tool: CarPlay Simulator from Apple Developer Additional Tools (developer.apple.com/download/all/) Issue start date: Wednesday, March 4th, 2025 Tested on: Multiple Mac machines, multiple iPhones Multiple CarPlay Simulator versions tested What's happening The CarPlay Simulator launches but displays "Connecting to phone" indefinitely. It was working correctly prior to March 4th with no changes on our end. What still works CarPlay functions correctly when the same iPhone is connected to a real car, confirming the issue is specific to the simulator. Troubleshooting steps already attempted Reset permissions and re-added the simulator Forgot the simulator and re-paired it Changed the USB cable Tested on multiple Mac machines Tested on multiple iPhones Tried multiple versions of the CarPlay Simulator Confirmed no VPN is in use Confirmed with IT, no OS updates or enterprise restrictions were applied Questions Has anyone else experienced this since March 4th? Was there a change in CarPlay Simulator behavior or a requirement on the Apple side (certificate, entitlement, protocol) around that date? Is there a known workaround or fix?

Background script in the form of a service worker cannot be debugged
If the extension uses manifest v3 and a background script in the form of a service worker, then in Safari it is not possible to open the background script debugging window. If I expand the Developer menu in Safari, there is nothing under Web Extension Background Data (or disappear after click), which is an error. In other browsers (Edge, Chrome, Opera, Firefox) this works correctly. If I switch the background script back to non-persistent script mode, everything works fine and from the Developer menu and the Web Extension Background Data submenu I am able to open the background script debugging window for the extension. Am I doing something wrong?

WorkoutKit WorkoutScheduler sync Broken with iOS 18.2 beta
WorkoutKit WorkoutScheduler seems broken with the first beta of iOS 18.2. I have tested using my app from Xcode and the one that is on the App Store (and working properly on other devices), and it's not working with this new beta of iOS. They appears in WorkoutScheduler.shared.scheduledWorkouts, but not on the watch. I even tried with other apps that do the same with Manual add to Apple Watch with SwiftUI workoutPreview work. Apple Developer Program payment completed but enrollment still shows “complete purchase”
Title: Apple Developer Program payment completed but enrollment still shows “complete purchase” Hello, I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program as an individual and completed the payment on 8 April 2026. I received the invoice confirming the purchase, but my developer account still shows the message: “Purchase your membership. To continue your enrollment, complete your purchase now.” The enrollment status currently shows Pending, and it appears that the payment may not have been linked to my enrollment. Also the Enrollment Id has also not been generated I have already contacted Apple Developer Support twice but have not yet received a response. Payment details from the invoice: Order ID: MMWHM92XY3 Purchase Date: April 8, 2026 Has anyone experienced a similar issue where the payment was processed but the enrollment still shows “complete purchase”? If so, how was it resolved? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.

popoverTips don't display for toolbar menu buttons in iOS 26.1
[Also submitted as FB20756013] A popoverTip does not display for toolbar menu buttons in iOS 26.1 (23B5073a). The same code displays tips correctly in iOS 18.6. The issue occurs both in the simulator and on a physical device. Repro Steps Build and run the Sample Code below on iOS 26.1. Observe that the popoverTip does not display. Repeat on iOS 18.6 to confirm expected behavior. Expected popoverTips should appear when attached to a toolbar menu button, as they do in iOS 18.6. Actual No tip is displayed on iOS 26.1. System Info macOS 15.7.1 (24G231) Xcode 26.1 beta 3 (17B5045g) iOS 26.1 (23B5073a) Screenshot Screenshot showing two simulators side by side—iOS 18.6 on the left (tip displayed) and iOS 26.1 on the right (no tip displayed). HealthKit Blood Pressure authorization broken on iOS 26.5 RC
Hello, I'm experiencing a bug on iOS 26.5 RC1/RC2 where the Blood Pressure option is silently excluded from the HealthKit permission dialog (when requesting HKQuantityTypeIdentifierBloodPressureSystolic and HKQuantityTypeIdentifierBloodPressureDiastolic). This does not reproduce on iOS 26.4.2 or earlier. What happens: When BP types are requested alone, a blank white modal slides up and immediately dismisses — no permission UI is shown. When BP is requested alongside other types, a normal dialog appears for those other types, but Blood Pressure is simply absent from the list. The completion handler returns success = YES, error = nil in both cases, but BP permission is never granted. The result: Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → [app] shows Blood Pressure as requested but not granted getRequestStatusForAuthorizationToShareTypes for the BP types keeps returning ShouldRequest indefinitely HealthKit queries for BP samples return no data Workaround: Manually toggling Blood Pressure to ON in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → [app name] fixes everything - queries work, notifications fire, and getRequestStatusForAuthorizationToShareTypes correctly returns HKAuthorizationRequestStatusUnnecessary. Environment: Confirmed broken: iOS 26.5 RC1 (23F75) and RC2 (23F77), iPhone 11; iOS 26.5 RC1 (23F73), simulator Confirmed working: iOS 26.4.2 (device), iOS 26.4.1 (simulator) Feedback filed as FB22735935.

StoreKit Configuration Not Syncing to Xcode
Hello! I am attempting to add Subscriptions to an App that Is already published on the App Store. I cannot get Xcode to actually sync what is in my App Store Connect. When adding the Storekit configuration file, I go through the automatic linking process and select the proper bundleID. The configuration file says 'Synced @ [CurrentTime]' however there are no subscriptions listed in there. I have attempted deleting the file several times, creating a new subscription group. With no success. Do I need to publish the subscriptions without the features first? Upon attempting to write the supporting code that will enable these features within the app, I cannot get Xcode to identify that I have these subscriptions. I have also tried pushing these to TestFlight, still with no success. Thank you.

Trademark complaint but no followup
Hello, I have recently received a trademark infringement claim against my app. The claim did not specify exactly how I am infringing, or supply any other actionable information. However they did mention they filed at the USPTO. Nevertheless I pulled my app from the U.S app store to prevent any unintentional infringement, and contacted the complainants to resolve the situation. It's been a few weeks since then and I haven't heard anything from the complainants. Meanwhile Apple is reminding me to resolve this conflict. Does anybody here have any advice on how to proceed? I have tried getting in touch with AppStoreNotices@apple.com but they do not appear to reply. Thanks!

SwiftUI Text rendering with too small height / one line missing causing unexpected text truncation on iPhone devices
FB: FB22577211 The following trivial SwiftUI Text rendering causes wrong text layout and truncated text. The text should take the required height to render the text without truncation. Adding fixedSize does also not solve this. This bug only happens on devices and not on the simulator. Confirmed with iPhone 15 and iOS 26.4.1 but my colleague used another iPhone so it’s multiple iPhone devices. import SwiftUI let txt = """ Es sollte die erste Japan-Tournee von vielen werden, kein anderes Land – abgesehen von Österreich und der Schweiz – bereisten die Berliner Philharmoniker häufiger. """ struct ContentView: View { var body: some View { VStack { Text(txt) } .padding(.leading, 20) .padding(.trailing, 20) .frame(maxWidth: .infinity) } } This is also enough: Text(txt) .padding(.horizontal, 20) .fixedSize(horizontal: false, vertical: true) Expected: Text is rendered without truncation / ellipsis. Actual: Text is rendered with too small height / missing one line so it’s truncated / with ellipsis.

Requesting guidance on Endpoint Security entitlement (com.apple.developer.endpoint-security.client) for per-process network connection telemetry on managed macOS
Hi Apple Developer Forums, We are developing a managed macOS security/monitoring agent for enterprise customers (deployed only to MDM-managed endpoints). Our goal is to collect per-process network connection metadata (e.g., which process initiated a TCP connection, destination IP/port, timestamps). We are not intercepting or collecting network payload/content—only connection metadata for security telemetry/compliance. We previously explored options like: sysctl PCB lists (e.g., net.inet.tcp.pcblist_n) / kernel structs (not stable ABI; appears private/fragile) Aggregate TCP stats (sysctl net.inet.tcp.stats) which are public but system-wide only proc_pidinfo() / PROC_PIDFDSOCKETINFO for per-PID socket snapshots (polling-based; limited / not event-driven) It seems the supported, event-based approach for per-process connection visibility is EndpointSecurity.framework, but it requires the entitlement: com.apple.developer.endpoint-security.client Questions: Is EndpointSecurity.framework the recommended/supported approach for per-process TCP connection events on macOS for a managed enterprise security agent? What is the correct process to request approval for the Endpoint Security client entitlement under an Apple Developer Program team? (We were directed to post here.) Which Endpoint Security event types are appropriate for capturing connect/accept/close style network events per-process, strictly for metadata telemetry? Are there any platform/privacy constraints or best practices Apple expects us to follow for this use case (MDM-managed enterprise deployments)? We can provide additional details (distribution method, signing, MDM deployment model, privacy disclosures) if needed. Thanks!

Is this smart app banner meta tag formatted correctly so that installs will show up in app store connect analytics under the correct campaign? I want to be sure before using this in our production environment. Thank you

AppStore.sync() not restoring purchases
On an app that was using the old API for In-App Purchases (StoreKit 1). The app is already published on the App Store. The purchase is non-consumable. While trying to migrate to StoreKit 2, I'm unable to restore purchases. Specifically displaying and purchasing products works as expected, but when deleting and reinstalling the app, and then trying to restore purchases I can't do it. I'm trying to restore them using the new APIs but it doesn't seem to be working. What I have tried so far: I'm listening for transaction updates during the whole lifetime of the app, with: Task.detached { for await result in Transaction.updates { if case let .verified(safe) = result { } } } I have a button that calls this method, but other than prompting to log in again with the Apple ID it doesn't seem to have any effect at all: try? await AppStore.sync() This doesn't return any item for await result in Transaction.currentEntitlements { if case let .verified(transaction) = result { } } This doesn't return any item for await result in Transaction.all { if case let .verified(transaction) = result { } } As mentioned before I'm trying this after purchasing the item and deleting the app. So I'm sure it should be able to restore the purchase. Am trying this both with a Configuration.storekit file on the simulator, and without it on a real device, in the Sandbox Environment. Has anyone being able to restore purchases using StoreKit 2? PD: I already filed a feedback report on Feedback Assistant, but so far the only thing that they have replied is: Because StoreKit Testing in Xcode is a local environment, and the data is tied to the app, when you delete the app you're also deleting all the transaction data for that app in the Xcode environment. The code snippets provided are correct usage of the API. So yes, using a Configuration.storekit file won't work on restoring purchases, but if I can't restore them on the Sandbox Environment I'm afraid that this won't work once released, leaving my users totally unable to restore what they have already purchased.

Xcode Cloud: Unable to Notarize macOS App (Stuck in Infinite Waiting)
Hi everyone, I’m encountering an issue with Xcode Cloud when trying to notarize my macOS app. As shown in the screenshot, there are no errors in the logs, but the process gets stuck indefinitely. The message says: The post-action could not be completed because the build was canceled. No artifacts are generated at all. This problem started recently. Notarization works perfectly when I submit from my local Xcode, so it seems to be specific to Xcode Cloud. Has anyone else experienced this?

Core Spotlight Semantic Search - still non-functional for 1+ year after WWDC24?
After more than a year since the announcement, I'm still unable to get this feature working properly and wondering if there are known issues or missing implementation details. Current Setup: Device: iPhone 16 Pro Max iOS: 26 beta 3 Development: Tested on both Xcode 16 and Xcode 26 Implementation: Following the official documentation examples The Problem: Semantic search simply doesn't work. Lexical search functions normally, but enabling semantic search produces identical results to having it disabled. It's as if the feature isn't actually processing. Error Output (Xcode 26): [QPNLU][qid=5] Error Domain=com.apple.SpotlightEmbedding.EmbeddingModelError Code=-8007 "Text embedding generation timeout (timeout=100ms)" [CSUserQuery][qid=5] got a nil / empty embedding data dictionary [CSUserQuery][qid=5] semanticQuery failed to generate, using "(false)" In Xcode 16, there are no error messages at all - the semantic search just silently fails. Missing Resources: The sample application mentioned during the WWDC24 presentation doesn't appear to have been released, which makes it difficult to verify if my implementation is correct. Would really appreciate any guidance or clarification on the current status of this feature. Has anyone in the community successfully implemented this?

Multipeer Connectivity connection is flaky on iOS 26
While updating our test devices to iOS 26, we noticed that the connection between devices are flaky. Often when connecting to a Peer from a device running iOS 26 we can observe the invite coming through and when accepting said invite, both ends going to .connecting state and a while later going back to .notConnected within the peer(_ peerID: MCPeerID, didChange state: MCSessionState) function. This happens regularly and retrying the invitation process several times usually resolves it. Do anyone have any information or guidance on how to resolve this issue?

iTunes Search API no longer returning explicit results?
My app has been using the iTunes Search API (itunes.apple.com/search) for a few years now, but at some point over the last week or so (late Sept. 2025) it is no longer returning track results with explicit content, regardless of whether I provide "explicit=Yes" (which is the default anyway, according to the API documentation - https://performance-partners.apple.com/search-api). Has anyone else experienced this with this API and have you figured out a workaround? FYI, I do also use the more robust Apple Music API in another part of my app, which isn't going through this issue, so I know it's technically an alternative. I just need to stick with iTunes Search API in this particular case. Thanks.

Requesting guidance on Endpoint Security entitlement (com.apple.developer.endpoint-security.client) for per-process network connection telemetry on managed macOS

Thanks!

Native Smart App Banner Analytics
Hello, After doing some research and asking AI, I am still not sure if I am correctly formatting our meta tag. Different AIs are saying conflicting things. Is this smart app banner meta tag formatted correctly so that installs will show up in app store connect analytics under the correct campaign? I want to be sure before using this in our production environment. Thank you

AppStore.sync() not restoring purchases

Claude keeps logging out
Hi, I'm running Xcode version 26.0.1 (17A400). Every time I restart Xcode, it seems to not recognize my Claude login anymore, and I have to go through the whole authentication flow again. It's quite annoying. Does anyone have a solution for it?

Thanks.
